Step into my journal
My life before your eyes
Come step into my world, dear
It's sure to be a surprise

What you thought about me
Disappeared without a sound
I liked to hide behind my walls
Whenever you came 'round

I'm not perfect, not even holy
I've got scars that I love to hide
If you come and look closely, you'll see
That I have more than just one side.

...Welcome.
The Gift Of Mankind,
We toss aside earthly things
And depart this world.
If Home is the place where I belong,
Then why have I been wandering for so long?
Seems my whole life, I've been gone;
I wonder why I'm still holding on.

To a hope of finding myself a home,
Instead of all this busy Alone;
And honestly, if I had ever known,
I wouldn't have come on my own.

Sometimes when I can't find my way,
Or just can't find the right place to stay;
Never knowing the right words to say,
I just look to the sky and I pray.

Heaven knows where I belong,
And He knows where I've been for so long;
Even though my whole life I've been gone,
He is to whom I'm holding on.~
her copper hued lips
implored him to kiss them
with exuberance
I refuse to be anyones puppet! I refuse to be lead by strings.I refuse to let the clock tick by and watch my life on the sidelines.

is the time on the clock face,
when the first kookaburra
calls.
this corner of the world,
still dark and cold.
but then i suppose,
some poor sucker,
had to get the early bird gig
i just wish, it was'nt,
the noisiest bird in the park.

look out worms.....laughing death is on the wing.
and thus starts another day.

There's something crazy going on these days
Down at the city zoo
The giraffes have joined the high society club
While the monkies are getting tattoos

The elephant's are packing up their trunks
And moving to the Bronx
With all the hippos on a diet
In an effort to lose their junk

The Lions have stopped lying
The cheetahs have stopped cheating
And as far as all their drinking
They're both going to A.A. meetings

The orangutans are the ones to blame
For a pyramid scheme gone bad
Left the zebras all in the red
When they lost everything they had

The crocodiles are out sunning themselves
By the pool drinking PiƱa coladas
While the mother snakes go on Maury
To try and figure out who is the father

Yes, things are a little crazy these days
Down at the city zoo
But if you were locked in a cage all day
Wouldn't you go crazy too?
