Look at me so I can gaze into the past and fix the flaws
See me so I can mend what was left of that broken body
Touch me so I can surrender myself to this present heart
Release me so I can calm the storm in my future self

It's getting close to Christmas Day
A time of joy, a time of play
But all I want's to find a way
To spend the holiday with you.

No school today, I lay in bed
My love for you won't leave my head
My cheeks become a little red
From thoughts of cuddling with you.

At last, the special day is here
I wish I got you something, dear
But we've a better source of cheer
'Cause you have me, and I have you.

And even though you're really far
We're deep in love, I know we are
I look up at the shining stars
They're almost beautiful as you.
My first time playing around with meter, rhyme schemes, and stress patterns. This poem is fictional (sadly).

they say to speak up

She's my walking rose
Walking down the road
Discussing right and wrong
Trying to figure out how to stay strong

She wants to grow,
She wants to know
How it's supposed to go,
She turns her color on
Turns a shade of pink yellow white black or red
Only the rose knows,
walking as she goes,
her time is brief
she thinks maybe that's a relief

Her road is long
When she's in the middle of it,
She knows though
It's all a dream as it passes on by.

My rose
She wilts in the dawn
Rises in the night,
I tell her I have one more road to go
My walking rose
She whispers, "I know."

They’ve said
If you write down
your problems
they might disappear ,
Wishful thinking
I tell you.
She writes
no one noticed
She screams
no one heard
She’s drowning
in herself
no one notice
her struggles
she feels like
she doesn’t belong
not a thing going her way
not a **** thing
She’s too full of life
too half live
She’s too full of love
to be half loved
Her heart fighting a raw pain
no one understand
no one even care to notice...
She’s an entire earthquake
confined in her own prison
of her skins
bones as bars
pretty flesh planted feet
waiting for someone to notice
the soil beneath her feet
is breaking...
Pretty face
so perfect in every way
yet no one notice
the sky above her head
is falling
no exit doors
nowhere to run
she can no longer hide
her pieces are falling
into darkness
though the lights are bright
within the dark roads
of a beautiful soul

Can you See her now ?
TIME TO SAVE THE WORLD!

Did you feel it?

'Round about 11:37pm
Eastern

Last night

I was rebroadcasting
This enormous grin

This joyous
Guffaw

This hoot
And hollar

A small
Connection

Causing
And releasing

A death star sized
Blast of joy

You had to feel it

It was
Just after
She left

When I
Could think
Again

Someday you’ll love you.
From the sparkle in your eye,
To the pitch of your laugh,
Even the color of your hair.

You will love every part,
From every wrinkle,
To every crinkle,
Every part of you.

But they will try to tear you down,
To make you frown,
To make you think you’re not worth it.

But darling you listen to me.

From the way you walk,
To the way you talk,
You will be mocked,
But don’t you listen.

From your weight,
To your height,
You are all wonderful to me.

Maybe one day you’ll see,
The beauty I see.
The way you were made,
So beautifully.

But until then,
Do not forget,
On how true beauty,
Comes from within.
I hope one day that you love you the way you deserve. You are worth it ❤
