Rain, rain, wash me away.
Drown me in the depths, let my spirit decay.

Lost and lifeless, adrift in the flood,
no fire in my heart, no surge in my blood.

Endlessly grasping at things not meant to be.
Left to live out forever in the cold of the sea

Rain, rain, wash me away.
Perhaps I'll find solace in this madness of grey.

What, oh what, do I write about today
Do I write about the weather or of something gone astray

Let's think about this for a minute and see what subject comes up
Sometimes you sit here just staring and refilling your special, coffee cup

Sometimes your dreams have a great subject, that disappear as soon as you wake
You try like mad to remember,  but you can't, cause your brain is now on a break

The mind plays jokes on the poet, it leads you in so many ways
If we all could just control it, then writing, would be more like play...

Inspired by sitting here staring at my coffee cup...
Ever happen you any of you out there?

Nothing makes me that happy
Other than a nice cup of coffee,
But when you reached out and talked to me
Even the best cup of coffee can't compare to your beauty

You were the perfect coffee I was looking
The one worth waiting
My best cup of coffee
Was when you were there with me
Nothing makes a cup of coffee more delicious if you're talking with someone you love

I wanted to reach out to the sky
not to touch any star
just to whisper to the Moon
'How beautiful are you'!

I was still, stunned on the ground
wandering down the sunrise hill.
In the midst of the morning breeze
I heard of a whispering
‘The eyes in the sky gaze to the ground’.
So close to me that drew
as if that whispered to me ‘tell me about you’!
