all alone in a crowded room
claustrophobia consumes
as i'm uncomfortably surrounded
by strangers
with friendly faces,
ultimately unfamiliar
yet seemingly displaced
from this blur of insanity
they pass as our reality

          where are we?

i am searching for familiarity

                                                  in an unfamiliar place

trying to find

                              a familiar face
the United Nations
ever and again call to raise billions
to help countries devastated by war
or other mostly man-made catastrophes

I suggest we operate by the causality principle:

the countries who sell all those arms
and military support to the warring parties
or leave the natives no land to grow their own food
simply use the money gained from their sales and appropriations
to help the refugees they created
build up all the cities their weapons destroyed
provide a living for the farmers whose lands
         have been sold to agrobusinesses
pay for the education of all the children
         unable to have schooling
reconstruct the societies their greedy actions destroyed

sounds like a fair proposal

doesn‘t it??

The boughs of a placid embassy
fall flat when the citizens
become the crumbling pillars
that hold up the already fractured foundation.

trigger warning:

i'm a wanderer
though most of my travels
occur inside the confines
of my chaotic mind

i wouldn't recommend you follow
because i will leave you behind

     tell me
have you ever gotten lost
                                        in your own mind?
i cannot remember
what i was trying to find
perhaps
               i've lost it.
disclaimer: this "trigger warning" is misleading because there is nothing I am warning about specifically, I'm just lost & I liked the wording

Rain seems to be the final solver
of all the  b a d   t h i n g s
we weren't able to get rid of.
We just have to stay at home
     and wait,
                       till it's over.
Past the midnight watch...
in the inner reaches of my heart,
a door opens
and in wearing your face grinning,
grief comes calling.

Way up high he sits
Looking all around
Searching for a way to make all that's lost be found

Way up high she sits
Looking down upon the ground
Pairing the shattered with the mended or whole

Way up high they sit
Looking up into the sky
Wishing to be higher
Wishing to be found

As the sky flew
overhead.
And the stars fell.
I felt ugly,
compared to its
Beauty.
in meadows finally released
from the cold grip of snow
spring flowers look so pleased
so happy they can grow

their leaves unfold
their shiny blossoms bring
bright colors back into our world
and make all birds sing spring
