I want you to glance at me when I pass by.
Notice me when I actually try.
I want you to hold my hand when we walk.
Notice how beautiful I am everytime we talk.
I want you to kiss me under the sun.
Notice me coming undone.
I want you to tell me you love me.
Notice how you're the only one I see.
I want you not to yell.
Notice me trying to escape this hell.
I want you to stay.
Notice how every **** night I pray.
I want you to come back.
Notice me trying to so hard to back track.
I want you to love me again.
Notice how I can't let this be the end

Maybe that was my number one mistake.
Not noticing the steps that I always take.

They lead to my downfall every ******* time.
Breaking my heart, to you, obviously is not a crime.
i often wonder what it'd be like
if you were to read the poems
i've written about you, if you
were to finally see all the pain
that you inflicted, and all the
thoughts i've spent our forever
hiding from you
my dear.
Born into this,
It's not my fault
Living memories of past events I haven't remembered yet
But others remember them for me,
It's my fault,
Maybe it is
But don't dare say I'm not trying,
To be different than my father,
To make different mistakes,
Life's a game and we've been dealt different hands
But don't pretend it's anything but a game of chance
You're not better for seeing what's there and using it.
Look past the seeming errors
Mistakes and misunderstandings
And see only the love within
Give this your resolute focus

Love underlines every situation
Healing in undreamed of ways
Love switches on the light
To diminish previous darkness

Each thought is an investment
That pays immediate dividends
Align with peace love and harmony
To a more loving vantage point

Affirm all that your heart desires
And forget of what you fear
Look past the personalities of others
And see their pure angels within

The space between YOU and I tore my heart apart.
The sound of the rip deafened my ears.
The blood gushing out blinded me,
and the sharp pain attacking my soul left me paralyzed.
All because of the space between YOU and I.

Three years later I healed.
I could hear again,
I could see again,
and the pain in my chest,
the one caused by the ripping of my heart,
sealed shut with tape and chains with locks around it.
Until a key is found, never to be opened again.

Today, I'm here,
standing, not worried,
with the key unlocking locks carefully.
I found it.
No I found him.
No we found each other and today is the day we promise to be forever.
Thanks to the space between YOU and **I
This poem is based on a character I wrote in one of my books. It shows that of all the heartbreaks you get out there. One major heart break can lead you to find forever happiness.
