Open your eyes and you will see blue skies
Accompanied by snow white clouds
Look at those mountains and trickling fountains
Leading to a brook nearby.

Look around you can hear the sound of waterfalls
And sweet birds sing their song just for you
Can you feel the soft breeze on your face
And see the leaves on the trees softly sway.

You hear the sound of people in the distance
And the sound of laughter everywhere
You look, you clearly see a fair
Everyone is welcoming and wish to see you there.

You recognise those people, you have seen them in the past
All those faces from different places simply knock you back
Aunty Jill and Uncle Bill, and Morris the barber who cut your hair
Everyone from everywhere, together at the fair.

But now you see a dark black cloud, it's time now to retreat
The picture now is fading your world is incomplete
You see, things are not always what they seem
And None of this did happen, it was just your dream of dreams.
The hope of meeting all those lost loved ones again in a better place. Although it must be said this poem can mean different things for different people. It is what you want it to mean.
Smooth, silky hair tied in a high ponytail
Clear lip gloss
Fingernails painted pale pink
The perfect girl next door
Pastel cardigans and sweaters were her thing

Waking up with red, swollen, puffy eyes
Staring at her reflection in the mirror for hours
And reappearing fresh cuts on her wrist
Yet no one knew the blackness growing darker in her

What's done is done
No way to go back in time
A little attention would've been sufficient to stop it
But to be fair
She got it in the end
As her body laid on the ground
With blood gushing out of her hand

You watch as I smile
at things that make only me  happy.
You watch as I dance
to the beat of my heart.
You watch as I fall
deeper and deeper in love with you.
You watch as I give
my youth to you.
You watch as I realise
I deserve better.
I deserve someone who loves back
instead of you, who's only watching from a distance.

when just wanting to hurt isn’t enough
i sit alone
and wait for someone

but nobody comes
nobody helps
and all that remains
is the suggestion of relief
and the promise of pain

so once again
i’ll give into my vices
take up the scissors
and drag the cold metal across my wrists
it hurts.

but hurting is better than feeling nothing at all
and i’d rather slit my own wrists
than feel the pain of being scarred
by someone else

i’m terrified
because i know
one day i’ll die

not just my body
but my memory
everything that remains of me

one day i’ll truly die
nobody will whisper my name again
and i’ll become

irrelevant

insignificant

unimportant

someday, nobody will think of me ever again
all i was
all i wish i could be
all i will be

will mean nothing.
probably my biggest fear but it's ok bc it's inevitable and i'm coming to terms with knowing that nothing will change when i die.
Sorry, I am just your friend
Nothing more, nothing bad
Smile please, don't be sad!

I always believe a friend is who
touches my feelings and does
everything for my goodness.

A real friend never goes far away
when another friend is in trouble
and stays side by side day by day.

A best friend who still loves me
and knows all about my secrets
who sad in my sadness, will be

A good friend doesn't ever laugh
when I am wrong or upset and
helps when I'm not good enough

A friend likes a mirror which
says the truth about me, as mine
You're my best friend, it's fine.
My friend
I owe you for your help
