Tears pooling in her eyes
Slowly, steady, realize.
Pull back to the beginning
Shamelessly pretending that your winning.
The hollow feeling in your chest,
How you pray for it to rest.
Hold your head above the shame,
Pull yourself together and play the game.

Buried in your sorrows,
Not a day without tomorrow's.
Your windowed pain
Spider cracks in the rain.
The hopes and dreams,
Sinking in empty screens.
But not a second floats by,
That you don't remember how you'll die.
In this world,
money equals fate,
Be careful not to procreate.
Promises of false securities,
Foolish plans and possibilities.
Standing here on your own
Listening to busy signal on the phone.
Pain builds up in your head.
Soon your screaming.
Could it be easier if you're dead?
Your calling out for some notion,
Just a tiny speck of emotion....
Silence fills the room.
Your on your own and it feels too soon.
Now it's time to leave the lagoon.
Let go of your rock and drift away
The ocean will bring you back another day.

The leaves we're burning bright
Like thunder.

Open the belly of the beast,
From under her patient paws
Uncertain

Lost in a thought,
Lost in motion.
To speak out sound
That's left unspoken.

I found a light
To keep me grounded.
Forever keeping me safe,
Sure, and certain
For there was a tinge of a
man uncertain
Lost and confused
And easily amused

By preying
On those who are weaker.

He knocked on our door,
We invited him in with kindness
He saw nothing,
but hates blindness.

I felt you sneaking,
Tweaking in.
No longer I call you friend.

She's a monster through and through,
She bare ****** and true.
She will think of him
Day and night,
Her Boogie Man isn't here tonight.
She calls for him helplessly,
Searching desperately.
He is gone,
Off in the distance.
Dare she speak what she has to say?
No, no he might run away.
Slowly she resides alone to her den.
Dreaming of her Boogie Man,
"Maybe one day he'll eat me up, and
He'll come outside just to play"
But I am the monster for today
And won't my Boogie Man come and stay?
I wish we could add photos I drew a wonderful monster to go with this poem.

Hang your head in darkest shame.
Allow your hair to blow gently in the wind.
Tighten the binds holding you together.
Step up to the rope.
Look at your sins, they finally pulled up.
Feel the unsteady plank beneath your feet.
***** and bare, your exposed.
Helpless, the rope is around your neck.
Consumed by guilt and shame.
Gasp as everything beneath you falls.
Silence.
Your lifeless body sways peacfully in the wind.
It was comimg, you saw it, this brutal end
No longer can you play this bitter game of pretend.

They tell me I couldn't be more beautiful, or be anymore kind,
Clearly the fools here are blind.
An ugly truth uncovered,
A dark fore-telling discovered.
For I am a siren,
Singing against the wind
If you listen to my song,
Closely you can see
There's a darkening world inside of me.
You will hear the words
Full of pain,
They become hostel, and vile.
Thier potent words
Masked by false hope.
As my mouth spews fire.
And you fall in love,
blinded to my ways.
I shake my head in dismay.
Standing next to you but,
I'll let you waist away on my battleground,
So here I stand in my manipulations.
Never once did I lend my hand,
To pick you up again.
Your soon to be a distant memory,
Like a passing thought played in slow motion.
Your gone now,
Did you enjoy my song?

Lost in a world all my own,
I'm falling deeper and deeper.
Through the depths of no return. Searching and calling,
To no avail.
She's lost
I can hear her crying,
Feel her dieing.
Our connection is strong,
An eternal bond.
So I ask you where's Alice?
