to pull seed from ***** soil
God made the sky rain

One Andean Sky
Boy blue and lonely girl
Warm glow, two hearts unfurl
Tide ebbs, colour sways, it sings to them ‘run away’

They found their own way
They found their own way
The dawning of a new day
At suns first Ray

Wings grow, boy flies, his big hands, gently guides
Girl lifts into the sky
Now it’s their time, their time to fly

Ride their dreams, atop the silver moon
Liquid skies, a humble tune
Hands feeling soft skin
Still lips, hearts in a spin

They found their own way
They found their own way
At suns first Ray
The lights on the bay

Hearts explode, under watchful eyes,
A fire wheel, fills the skies
The echo ends, the afterglow,
Holding tight, never letting go

They found their own way
They found their own way
Under the warmth of suns Rays
The grey fades, the colours stay

Cornflower blue covered capsules
They turn the axles now
I know that you’d be scared too
If you surfed a furrowed brow

I could love the rain more if
I wasn’t made of wooden bones
And I would love me more if
I didn’t have such a fragile soul

I saw a piece of me within
Those chilling words you wrote
They helped me grasp my demon
By her once elusive throat

To live a life of freedom from
That unquenchable thirst
How I long to relive all
Those precious years traversed

The clock can't simply just turn back
And hurt won't be forgot
But onwards I will press until
This dismal life's a blot

The morning birds sing to the rythm of her soft heart beat under sky
blue sheets

Warm air exerts from each nostril along with a yawn from her
baby doll lips

Gold framed women in paintings above her drop forward
over the headframe
in envy of her glamour

And the sun gleams against her cheek bones creating a halo around what already is an angel

”If you are to love,
love freely and unburdened
by the tombstones
of past miscalculated regrets.”

But the heart
inadvertently beats
to the mismatched rhythms
of a hundred
caged doves’ wings.

A lone mourning dove
High upon the roof
next door
Singing my sad song
