”If you are to love,
love freely and unburdened
by the tombstones
of past miscalculated regrets.”

But the heart
inadvertently beats
to the mismatched rhythms
of a hundred
caged doves’ wings.

A lone mourning dove
High upon the roof
next door
Singing my sad song

We all can create magic
We can do amazing things
Impossible things
We can bring wonder and amazement
We have the power to change the world
Into a wondrous place
Where anything is possible
For anyone, anywhere
We can bring in light
To chase away the darkness
We just have to believe
And use our own special light
To lift up the world
To new heights
We have the most powerful energy in us
Love
With that we can create
We are magicians

Life has a funny way,
Of making sure you fall
But here's to the people
Who manage to smile through it all.

Universe Poems
For those who **** you dry,
and, disregard how you feel,
create a barrier that is real
They can't understand survival,
that's why
You must protect your inner self
Don't deny
They would rather see you die
and, suffer in silence,
while you cry
Without a moment,
how are you,
they thrive on control
Through and, through

Upon my waking hours,
I become a wildflower.

Slowly as my eyes open,
the mist clears, the fog
roll’s me over the hills
in my mind.

As the sun reveals her
glowing smile, dreams
fade into the darkness
as reality lights the world
bringing life to the shadows.

I am slowly aware of my freedom,
it’s like an itch burning to be
itched.

I am fully bloomed.

Universe Poems
A quick fix
A long story mix
History
Resistance
Philosophy
Knowledge
Prophecy
Words,
seen in a different way
The mind of a Poet,
or Poetess
An artist,
that views,
words and, letters,
with vision
Macbeth
Who took a Prophecy,
from a trio of three
Consumed
Ambition,
actions driven by a vision
Seeking power for its own sake,
the vision of the Universe,
would never forsake,
or leave you with guilt,
paranoia and, heartache

I stood there in the closet
Plotting it out
How I was gonna wear
her outfit
Without her figuring out
The one with the stripes
And the ******* belt

She always had something
I wanted you see
Something I couldn't have
Was what I wanted to be

Like the hand me down things
She handed to me
Her hand me down love
was my everything

I was walking on air
When she gave them to me
Like a million bucks
Felt like I won the lottery
In her hand me down love
I was glistening

Hand me down shoes
Hand me down rings
Hand me down clothes
Hand me down things
