Sound sleep is sweet
No nightmares, no dreams
Just sleep
No cold, no heat
No getting up to wee
Just sleep
No tossing around
Nothing to worry about
Just sleep
I need one of those!

Had some quiet time to myself
To reminisce about the events of the year
Here is a summary
Challenges surfaced but grace prevailed
Doubts appeared but faith conquered
Trouble showed but peace overshadowed
Evil threatened but light reigned supreme
A lot of hurdles crossed
A lot of lessons learnt
Blessings felt and experienced
Indeed, it was a great year
The memories brought me to tears
Tears of joy and gratitude
Ready for the new year
With it's blessings of great magnitude

Thoughts dwelling in my mind like a foetus
waiting to be born into this world as a poem
To glisten before the eyes of the reader
And to linger in their minds even days after
I'll patiently wait for the words to mature
To be released in its purest form.

Once upon a time
A Lion became a Lamb
For the purpose of remission
An obedient and willful decision

For man's sake, He was crowned with thorns
He took off all human's shackles and bonds
He abolished death
And gave birth to the new birth

He fully paid the price of all human's sins
He became poor that human might be rich
He was broken that human might be whole
Restored human's position as God's daughters and sons

The Lamb fulfilled His mission,
Returned to His home
Also human's home
A story of Salvation!

Surrounded by blessings, it's all I see & hear
Lack is noise and it's being cancelled out
Wherever the enemy stays, lurking
I have Angels around, constantly watching
All of my supplies come from above,
I have no fears of it running out
When things look a little undesirable,
Stressing & worrying are unrequired,
I simply lift up my voice like a mass choir
And He does the works of His hands like He's unretired
A blessed life is that of faith & not of senses.

Forgiveness
liberates
the forgiver.
Healing
never finishes
without
the offended
forviging
the offender.

A letter to an older me
This life is like an open sea
Everyone is trying to stay afloat
You have to man your own boat

Out here, it's really cold
It is every man for himself
They will say they love you but really they don't
You have to believe in yourself

In God only, you should put your trust
Keep your spirit elated
Keep your mind motivated
Keep your heart clean towards all men

Trust me, the sea will get stormy
Keep your eyes on God Almighty
Surround yourself with good company
Men and women with positive energy

Always follow your heart
It sure knows the path
You would make some mistakes
Learn as much as you can

Wisdom is a principal thing, get it
Expect less from people but be willing to help
Be full of gratitude, show it every time u can
Don't keep grudges, forgive but keep the lessons in your hands

Be positive at all times
Tough times don't last, tough people do
Don't worry, I believe in you
If I have more information, I'll send it to you

Honestly—people can do a lot of good
things to/for you
But there are certain things nobody
can do for you
Top on the latter list are:
salvation and self-love.
1. Salvation is personal, they say (and it's true).
2. Nobody can love you for you —
you have to do it by yourself for yourself.

This life that I live
Is a second version of you
Or an exact copy of you
I might as well live it in you

My vision is blurred
So is my mission flawed
Because I lost mine,
And what I'm living is yours

I wanted to be like you
It appears I've forgone my path
Now, I need to get it right
And get back on my track

I'm done with you
I'm tired and sick
I don't mean to disrespect you
But I figured my life is unique!

I can't understand why I'm still breathing
You were my reason for living
I can't believe one day u would be leaving
As I'm writing this, I'm weeping
I just hope you are kidding
Baby, I'm right here pleading
I cry out loud, pls recieve me!

The end of the world will not be the same for everybody
This morning marked the end for thousands already—
they are dead and gone.

The question then becomes—
what would your impact be while you're still here,
knowing that—to nobody is tomorrow guaranteed.

What kind of trail do you want to leave
If others follow it, where would it lead—
a place of fulfilment or desolation?

What would your legacy be
Do you think about these things
The life of the Earth isn't short
but the life of human is.

Start paying heed to what your impact should be.
