What Sweet Dreams May Come,
Like Waves On The Ocean Shore?

Heavy like rain,
love devoured my dreams.
As my passions died, upon the waking
of my rose colored visions.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

And within a sweet dream
you came to me.
Once there, you began
to devoured me,
with your lips
you stole my heart
and what was left
of my passion.

There you stood before
the shoreline
of my lost dreams,
as your light beckoned
to my waves.

I lost my mystery to your winds,
as my waves beat and pushed
upon your misty sands.

I became a ghost,
a lost wandering soul,
who stole your promises
and dreams.

Those dream like lips,
salty and sweet
took me back into your arms
once again.
And there we stood in each other’s embrace,
forever mingling with the sands
of our sweetest dreams.

Such passions we dreamt,
of two lovers walking
in the morning breeze.
We became a flame
burning brightly in the night,
as the dawn devoured
our blaze with its morning light.

As we walk on the shores
of a sweet dream,
the waking time devoured
my rose colored visions
and I lost you once again within a sweet dream.

I have something simple to ask you
Tell me
What do you see in a sunset?
Do you see a painting, a scattering of warm hues?
Do you see a blanket of doom enveloping us
As the stars come out to play?
Do you see emotions?
Boldness, vibrancy, laughter?
Do you see the end of one thing
And the beginning of another?
Do you see anything deeper?
Does it remind you of someone?
Does it invoke thought in the deepest part of your mind?
Do you ever sit out and watch the sun die?
Have you ever wished that it would never end?
Have you ever cried when the last bleeding rays of light
Disappear over the horizon?
Does it make you crave something, a cold drink perhaps?
Or perhaps, someone, a girl who used to hold your hand
And laugh at your jokes, even when you knew they weren't funny?
Does the sunset remind you of your mother?
How vividly she spoke of her hopes for you radiated in the colors
Before she closed her eyes for a final time?
Or does it remind you of yourself?
Of how every bit of light in you died
And now a starless sky reigns over a cloud of darkness?
You used to watch the sunset every night
Holding the roses in your hand from a sweet girl
Which would soon decorate a hospital room, cold and sterile
But now you watch from inside
Inside a house of broken dreams, quiet hands folded in silent
But angry prayer.
And the twilight sun is the only beauty left in your life
But tell me
What do you see in a sunset?

The whole world is busy - working
Some are smiling, some walking,
Some earning, some helping poor,
Some saving environment,
Some saving animals
(list goes on...)

My days and nights pass
Like this in your LOVE

I stand and stare at
The moving world around me
Everyone I see is sleeping
Even while they are awake
Strange that I see no one
With LOVE in their eyes

And here I am,
With so much LOVE
In my eyes for YOU
See, I am even awake at nights
And no one has time to
Even look towards me
Except the stars and moon of course
Who are my eternal companions

And in my dreams during day
When I am all alone,
I'm adoring my BELOVED
You know why? I know why -
That may be LOVE magic of YOURS

Before I leave this life
I don't want a sorry
         left unsaid
From anyone I have wronged
        forgiveness I beg
Matters not to me
         your share of blame
Before my last breath
to smile at all I want
Wrong or right
         friend or foe
Not a tear unshed
Nor a smile
          stopped from laughter
Not a truth untold
           or a lie to nest
For what is life
           but a mere waking
Into the next beginning
A moving from shadows
             to light
Sky to Earth
              hope to breath
There are no forevers
               in the flesh
Sorry travels endlessly
                wrong bones might forget
But spirit's sufferings
                  Never ends

Once in a lifetime
You'll meet that one in a million
And you can't help but drown
In such divine beauty and grace
Lost for words
with every move that she makes
Feels like I was falling deeper
This girl she was a keeper
Never thought I'd ever mistreat her

Oh honey can't stop
Crying over you
Straight from my heart
I'm breaking in two
Still, can't bear that I lost you
And memories of you
Are playing on repeat
All these thoughts
I can hardly sleep
Oh honey
Still crying over you

Everything fell,
went stone cold sour
Go through this situation
In my head for hours upon hours
How did we grow so close
Just to be torn apart
Words I should have left unspoken
We're put out in the open
And that's when we slid
into a constant fight
I'll never forget that night
Because I was so wrong,
And you were so right.

Oh honey can't stop
Crying over you
Straight from my heart
I'm breaking in two
Still, can't bear that I lost you
And memories of you
Are playing on repeat
All these thoughts
I can hardly sleep
Oh honey
Still crying over you

And it's here and now
I realise just how
much I messed up
If I could do it all again
You know I would
Let my insecurities
Get the better of me
Resulting in the hurtful words
I put you through
And I'll never forgive myself
for the hurt
I've caused inside of you
So much heartache
In watching your heartbreak

Oh honey can't stop
Crying over you
Straight from my heart
I'm breaking in two
Still, can't bear that I lost you
And memories of you
Are playing on repeat
All these thoughts
I can hardly sleep
Oh honey
Still crying over you
