Just Melz
I keep digging and digging and digging,
trying to dig myself out of this hole
But it seems everything is collapsing around me
      burying me with my soul.
      This small shovel
just doesn't seem to be enough,
No one thought to tell me
how life could be this rough
Now,
I'm just getting deeper and deeper
        and deeper
    with my unwanted thoughts
This shall be my grave,
but don't put any roses on top,
      I prefer **forget-me-nots

I come in seasons with
a heart of summer
a soul like spring
but find me falling every night
succumbing to the curse that is winter.

perfectly soft, cascading hair
crest of a neck so real
stripped of all innocence laying bare
words could never heal
on her sleeves, emotions to wear
silence of the night thick to feel
never would she be the same
only loneliness -herself remain

walking through the halls
facing all her peers
no one would ever know at all
her watermark of tears
couldn't tell she'd built a wall
to keep inside her fears
would never let one break it down
comfortable inside her frown

looking now inside to face herself at last
she's battling demons now, demons all her own
rising triumph threatens to destroy her happy past
tearing ripping swallowing up what was once her home
emptiness consumes her, left in a field so vast
why me now this? all questions left unknown

never would she be the same
only loneliness -herself remain

Not an afterthought.
Not a thought
At all.

A single leaf
Left on a tree
Alone.

A shadow
Passed in the dark
Unseen.

Not an afterthought
But not a thought
At all.

The boy with the nice eyes
I saw you on the first day
And I liked your eyes
Green and glistening
Like tiny ponds of mystery
I wonder what your irises hide.
You smile and laugh
with your many friends
You don't even know my name
But I know yours
What are names anyway?
A title of our own, yet out of our control
And I noticed your new haircut
before half your friends did
I doubt I'll ever work up the nerve
To even talk to you
Or meet your glossy fern green gaze
But I still whisper
Whenever you pass by
The name I know you by
Despite knowing your real birthname
I'll still call you this
And murmur the phrase to my friends
There goes the boy with the nice eyes

Repost if you have been struck by the beauty of someone's eyes before. Unless I'm just weird and the only one who has.
I love to read interpretations and thoughts on my poetry so please comment!

Tick tick tick
I live in a world a grey
Tick tick tick
I can't breathe I can't breathe
Tick tick tick
Alone. So alone.
Tick tick tick
All my fault all my fault
Tick tick tick
She's could have been dead
Tick tick tick
I could have killed her
Tick tick tick
She's gone because of me
Tick tick tick
Broken shattered bleeding
Tick tick tick
When did I become a murderer
Tick tick tick
The story is nearing its end
Tick tick tick
The story of my twisted mind
Tick tick tick
Tick tick tick tick tick
TICK TICK TICK
TICKTICKTICKTICK TICKTICKTICKTICK
...tick
......tick
.........tick
........
And all that was left was ashes
Because she was the ticking...
...and the ticking...
...was not a clock.
Please comment I would REALLY really appreciate feedback
