Know what keeps you warm
and let it burn you

I am lonely here tonight,
Lying under heaven's light.
I can see a million stars,
While I wonder where you are.
I am lonely as I wait,
Just beyond this garden gate,
To peer into the past,
Where we two will always last.
I am lonely as I stand
Where the waters kiss the sand,
As I look beyond the sky
To the days of you and I.
I am lonely in this place
Where I cannot see your face.
I miss you now you've gone
But I know you're moving on.
I am lonely here tonight,
As I lie beneath moonlight.
I am lonely, lonely, lonely,
You were my one; my only.

Stina
There are days where the tree is full of roses,
Blooming in colour, right under our noses.

Everybody stops to admire its beauty,
Sweet and comforting like a hot cup of fruit tea.

As the days roll by the petals start falling,
One by one, you don’t realise the warning.

Deep in its winter, it’s no longer the same,
The tree is bare, was this caused by the rain?

Nobody stares and they just walk on by,
It is no longer radiant like a butterfly.

But the tree is still beautiful deep in its roots,
Just no longer wearing its birthday suite.

The tree stays calm and welcomes this time,
Just like we shut down at bedtime.

Before you loose faith and think it’s all over,
Stop for a moment and look a bit closer.

Slowly you’ll see the tree starts to green,
Day by day, like a non-stop machine.

Until again it shows off its wonder,
Teaching us to never be scared of the thunder.

JasFow
She holds her own hand
Sweaty and cold
Shaking with a quiver only she can see
Green eyes echoing back and forth
She feels everyone else watching
Even when no none notices her
A sip of coffee satisfies nothing
A bite of the lip only helps momentarily
The pain distracts little by little
But the fear stays
Extrovert when convenient
Introvert when the other is needed
Smiling to everyone but herself
She cries to herself in the mirror
One moment, laughing enough to cause a crowd to join
Next, sitting quietly, chewing her inner cheek
Not a fear passes as she walks across a stage
But trembles as her paper is read aloud
Her best enemy lives within her head
She's living with Anxiety
My stomach makes me feel like I'm sick as I sit alone in an empty room, feeling judged by the "no one" there

I will ask you a question

“Do you remember the child you once were?

Who colored the crayons beyond the lines, shaping everything in that child’s imagination.

That painted the rivers green and the trees blue, full of wonder, putting nothing in order.

Now, I ask you this… What happened to that child?”

Why is that child now organizing the shapes, his head now a machine on rotate

He solves the puzzles but not his dreams
He gives the leaves a touch green, and rivers with blue...

What happened to the child who once ruled the world?

Now the World ruled the child."
