rain
pours outside
with a soothing sound
lightning
strikes with a purple glow
and thunder follows too
I love the rain
the calm it brings
and the chaos too
I love the rain
my friends do too
we smile
we run outside
to a day not too hot nor cold
and feel the rain hit our heads
then we splash and play
in the rain

daydreams take us away
into far of worlds and other days
an immersive play within ones mind
full of many things they wish to find
journeys bring us far and wide
to see sights that are incredible
from sentient robots
to fire breathing dragons
there are no limits to what one can imagine

people write poems about stars
the ways they sparkle and dance
the ways they fly across the sky
during the darkness of the night
I would want to be a star
and dance without a care
and look at the world from afar
and have the world look back with love
I would want to be a star
that floats joyfully in the endless night sky

I wish I could remember
I really wish I could
The dreams I had
The friends I've lost
A reason to care
I am just a child
floating in an empty sea
Not a care in the world
trying to remember
what I have long forgotten

If joy were sunshine and sad was rain

and that was the only weather

I think people would understand

People love the sunny days

it’s when they can go and play

But if the sun never left

If the rain never came

Then creatures would fall victim to drought

And the world would fall apart

We need the rain

We need the sun

if the sun was always shining

And was the way it had always been

Assuming evolution did it’s job

To the animals

The sun would hold no meaning

To them, that’d be the way it's always been

As they would have never seen the rain

Because having joy without ever having sadness

makes the joy ordinary and dull instead of fun and great

We always want joy and we always want sunshine

everything seems so dark so sad
then i see your smile and my heart ***** its wings gladly
in a way i could like a leach
into joy i would reach
i live off of smiles
if i harvested none i would disapaer from all the worlds inches and miles
in my own ocean of tears
i dedicate my life so no one must be like me with a heart full of tares
only held together with thin fragile thread

the noise the noise it hits me like a speeding car

the light so bright it turns me to tar

blinded by light and deaf from sound

I feel a ram of loss dig me into the ground

the intensity of the senses mushes my brain it flings me around and

around bringing me chaos

every single day
