You are a master deceiver
You've been able to fool not a few
But hundreds of people that have the misfortune
Of coming across someone like you
And believe all the words that escape your mouth
You become obsessed with one person
Get them to love you and invest their feelings
And then you move on to the next one
To leave the other one feeling like an idiot
I'm the biggest fool for letting you into my life
I should have known that you would lie to me
Not just once but many other times after that
I should've known you would have everything to hide
I played the fool before but I won't do it again
It's time to say goodbye to you and your deception
This is not so much a poem as it is a vent.
Thanks for reading.

Bang
My life flashed before my eyes
And your face was nowhere to be seen

it's ok
I don't care to talk about the problems that surround me
Rather watch 'em make a boulder split right down the middle
Crushing my entire future, to have aspirations bend
Bottle up what I feel, to hope everyone arounds me feels alright
Well, I don't feel alright, but I'm not going to complain
Keep moving forward, in hopes I made someone's day okay
This is all temporary, I hope
Because it's 5 PM, and my eyes are tired, my body is shaking
I fought the longest battle, and I'm ready to lose,
But I refuse to surrender

Once said
Birds of a feather flock together
Same goes for pigs and swine
I say
People together; all shape & size
Love n dance & commune with wine.

"Colored"
I had a Sub the other day. She described how it was for her growing up during the Civil Rights Movement before and after mentioning her first spelling lesson was how  to spell "Colored" from her mother. The seed was planted and I kept thinking and this is what I got. Hope y'all enjoy ^-^
