new light comes early -
low and uncertain
- cold and unsurely

slowly

winter is waning -
fading her darkness
away

- begins a new day.

I like the sound of the rain
washing away the silent day

And the lonely call
of a home-bound train

A mournful morning
kind of pain

....Give me the sound
of a blue bluejay

over the busy noise
that mocks my ways

I want to pack my bag
and fetch my dog

Whistle a tune
while we walk along...

Come on girl
It's starting to rain

I hear the sound
of the lonesome train

and the blue bluejay
calling my name

(Here's where yer sposed to whistle)

Been listening to John Prine this morning. He does this to me. :)
And I had to walk away
I was just hoping at least he noticed I didn't run
the title is a thought for after the poem
Where daffodils
Perfume the breeze,
And chirps and trills
Concert the trees,
And nectar spills
From mouths of bees,
I find my thrills,
My fun, my ease.
And though it ills
I rather please
To take green hills
With allergies.
Benadryl pills?
No thanks: I’ll sneeze.

Can not escape myself from this place
because of twilight
There is something strange about.......
your absence......

Dark comes in
grows around me
The void
in my heart says you are absent

Where did you go?
in this late-winter early spring, evening

Wanted to say goodbye
many a times
I
surrender
walking
towards nowhere again.........

Your body, your mind, your lips
gave me shelter......

Parting kiss
every night
Many a times tried.... but....
can not escape myself

As she loved the twilight

untold dialogue, looking at the sky, seven stars and fugitive moon.....
She was the prom queen
Beautiful, stunning
Popular
Her body matured more then most as a teen
Every guy wanted her
Girls jealous of her
She became a smoker
She was ill prepared
Inhaling sickness
Exhaling death
She didn't know was there
She gave her life then an there
It seared her throat
But she didn't care
Her inhales were long
She exhales with ease
Wanted to impress
She ache for popularity like a fein
After a couple of years the effects creeped in like a disease
She seemed to age twenty years
Wrinkles appeared
He hair thinned
So did her body
Fingers stained yellow
Her teeth rotted brown
Her breath just as foul
The prom queen couldn't be found
Her limbs begin to die
Amputations a daily routine
Her voice raspy
Followed by a bone chilling cough
Deep ridges on her lips hides a smile
Now the prom queen is just a picture
That she doesn't look at
Hanging on the wall
