I close my eyes

so clearly I see

what is in sight

is not reality
I am silent, not because I lack the courage to speak or am in fear of being ridiculed--
it's that I need firstly to look at the issue from all possible angles, dispassionately,  circumspectly and intelligently.

Rashness would harm or ruin myself---prudence and patience would save me.

In dealing with another person, my delayed response is being fair to him as he's given a fair chance of being respectfully heard.
British Summer Time

British summer time has begun
Clock’s gone forward forward one hour
It’s supposed to create more daylight
They won’t have to go to school in the dark
I remember during the second world war
putting them forward two hours
I keep one clock on the old time
and one on the new
and go by the sun

A poem is a story itself
it's just ambiguous

Summer rain descends to the ground
Hope rests on each droplet
And you watch as it fades into your skin
Slowing your anxious pulse
As you waltz with the idea of blooming
they told me that i was a girl
for i was wearing mascara and blush

they told me that i was a boy
for i was playing with trucks

they badgered me about my gender
they asked me where I fit in

i told them with wisdom that it was none of their business
my gender is not my identity
my gender is not who i am

they demanded to know what i am
i am a truck-loving, makeup-wearing human
