I have one hand on the handle of the mad sane door,
the other is scraping shards on the missing floor,
my mind dissolves away into a hurricane squall,
and my face is the mirror on a stark naked wall.

My life is a fluid flowing through images weird,
dripping through the cracks, tactile and veneered,
pouring dark thoughts into a head once cleared,
the door whispers promises of nothing to be feared.

The chorus
will ignore us.
The choir
does not inspire
only praises
the holy figures
it raises
from the dead.

These flapping feathers
of holy white
that flutter up
into the night sky
carrying those
who were born
to die;

They only do well
in our fictional hell.
They only excel
when our ignorance swells
as fools falter
at the mouth of the cave
where all other innocents dwell,
waiting to be saved
by the heroes we made;

But it has been years
since I lived that way,
walking away from the shade
those incredulous leaders made.

It is lonely to seek reality
when everyone else
is ok with an ancient fantasy.

So, I pack my knapsack
hit the railroad tracks
and head back in to the black
where all traveler eventually go
cause as far as I know
there is no Heavenly place
waiting for me at the end
of this waste of space
we call the human race.
Moses was an insurance salesman
Sold flood insurance on the Plains
No matter how much he prayed
There was never any rain

One day when Moses had turned 40
The Lord said you will lead my people free
Moses said , "Say what ? Are you talking now to me ?"

Go tell the Pharoah
"Set my people free . Or I will devastate you until you listen to me ."

So reluctantly he set out
with his wife and family
Hooked up with his brother Arron and together they made history

Well you probably know the rest . Frogs and grasshoppers and the flies were such a pest

But Pharoah remained steadfast
until the Angel of Death flew by
That was when the first born
were all doomed to die

So Pharoah then relented
Bade all the Isrealites please leave
Even gave up all his gold
and suggested to the others
that they should likewise give

But the Isrealites were hard hearted
They had little to do with their God
So Moses led them out into the desert
Until till they were covered by the sod

And Moses reared a new generation
more devout now than the first
They would go on to populate
everywhere on Earth

But Moses was a man
doomed
tied now by his sin
God said because of that he couldn't let him in

But God showed Moses
all the promised land
from upon the mountain top
where both of them would stand

Moses could see it was raining
falling hard into the sand
Now what of this eternity
Is it now at hand ?

Then God took away Moses to where he did not say
I'm sure God shed a tear in private upon that fateful day

See Moses was a man
not unlike the rest of us
He put his faith in his God
and gave him every ounce of trust
A bed we knew very little of, the history was a mystery.
My skin smiled when it met yours,
Radiating peace and security.
My bud blossomed into small roses that were pressed close to your heart.
Between us, a dance
Unlike any other I had ever known. A twist and pull, a push and shout,
Breath intertwined like branches in a cold winter forest.
Your hands fell down my hips, slithering to the beat we had made.
A grin, I felt, behind your curled lips, and a kiss they delivered unto me.
The deep pulse of love entered my stomach and my heart.
It filled my soul with the feeling of you.
And we
We are a drug so powerful that you can never forget the taste we left upon your thoughts.

Nameless stranger
Come and be my friend
Let us explore this life together
Let us enjoy it before it ends
Read me your so many books
And I shall read you mine
To explore worlds beyond our reach
Worlds made up by authors minds'
Let us learn about ourselves
Let us learn about the world
A world so divine
Yet somehow brutal and cold
Nameless stranger
Come and take my hand
Tell me all your little secrets
And I shall tell you mine
Show me what are you hiding behind those fake smiles
And the pains you conceal behind pretentious happy eyes
Tell me how they broke your heart
And laughed out loud at your pains
And I will show you my broken parts
All the dreams that went in vain
Be careful from my sharp edges
I don't want to cause you another scar
Or add a new wound to your still bleeding heart
A nameless stranger
Yet you are no stranger at all
Those who have experienced agony
Can recognize souls as damaged as their own.
I wrote this based on an actual stranger I saw a couple of times,
If you notice any mistakes in spelling/grammar do tell me, I'd much appreciate it
