Loneliness is the byproduct of expectations.
It's a cloud that settles in when time slows.
The fruit that falls from the tree, rotten.
Loneliness is always there,
Waiting for you.

We fear death, a place thought to be isolating.
Yet in our lonely moments,
We feel the rope strangling.
Veins blocked,
We stand up on the world's edge, leaning forward, hoping to find another world,
Where our lonely weekends dont exist at all.

No
Two letters, one syllable
Heavy meaning
Yet so many times its not heard
He hears the word but does not understand
He sees the line as blurred
He crosses it easily, but you on the other side
The other side left in pieces
He gets off no problem
You’re stuck with the scars
Invisible scars no one believes
Invisible scars as if it never happened
Invisible scars that hurt more than the visible ones

I wish I could find
The correct words and sequence
Of them to explain
myself.
Busy,
but not yet
there's still time to get
another
cup of coffee
switch on the radio
because
I don't use a TV

Think about World events
impending doom and
maybe tidy up this room

I shall soon be
busy being busy,
but
not yet.

Clay Face
Stuck in a straight jacket
That detaches from humanities
That disables civilized thinking
It strangles your insides
And steals compassion
And your breath of life
Withers inside this chasten

In this rubber room
Who’s pads make up your apathetical existence
You rot here like the ***** you take
You die here
Unless you bleed yourself of disrespect
Unless you bleed yourself of disinterest
Unless you bleed yourself of narcissism

Who cares
Your worthless in this state anyway
Find purpose in empathy

Or die here
Exist out of the minds of others
Others who have collective respect
Collective understanding
Collective empathy
And open mindedness

You’re locked here cause you prejudge
Guarded by your own stubbornness
You don’t accept
That you don’t know everyone’s story
You can’t know
You judge anyway

That hippie over there
He’s not a ***** loser
He has a family he loves
Worked hard in construction
And overcame a destructive alcohol and drug abuse
He’s better than you
He’s empathetic
Loving
Understanding
And embraces everyone
Got caught up in my disgusting mind. How ***** I am. Judging people I know nothing about. I hate it. Pathetic.

Call me Oliver
The sweet feeling of release
As we poured more lighter fluid.
The more it would glaze into the thick air of spring.
We are young.
We are helpless to feeling powerful,
As the fire
