Donald Trump's unleashed a budget
with fanfare great and loud;
And if you helped elect him
you are, no doubt, standing proud.

Such joy and happiness you'll feel
and oh such special thrills,
to find yourself in bankruptcy
from rising healthcare bills.

With public education trashed,
most kids will come out fools,
but so glad for those richer kids
in better, private schools.

No more funding for the arts,
oh what a lovely treat,
to walk past starving artists out
panhandling on your street.

When you drink water from your tap
and start to gag and choke,
be grateful that the E.P.A.
has gone right up in smoke.

If you're old and your Medicaid
won't cover that prescription,
will "Proud to die before my time"
be on your grave's inscription?

So where will all the savings go
from all this cost reduction?
Be thrilled to know it will buy more
weapons of mass destruction;

and it will build a monument
to Trump, so we will see
a massive wall, so broad and tall,
as useless as is he.

Though into pain and suffering
your country will be slidin',
your vote for Trump has given you
a budget you'll take pride in.

"Nineteen trillion,
nine hundred
sixty three billion"
says the duke of finance

"Woa, that's a lot of dough"
says the king
"We need to cut back
on our spending"

Funny some court jesters
Had gathered around
To inspire the king's laugh
Yet, he made not a sound

Though they did bear witness
to the majestic king
signing a new decree
"Only the bare necessities"

And some of the people
were well pleased,
And some of the people
Protested in the streets
A recent article says Mr. Obama left office after adding an additional
9.3 Trillion to Our debt,
according to numbers from the treasury  department..
Will our new president surpass this amount?
Only time will tell..

Nothing compares to you
You love me so true
Through ups and downs
You never fail me,
You never fail me to;
Make me smile
To dry up my soaking eyes
To care much
To love me.

To love me,
Beyond what I asked for.
You love me dearly
A never ending affection towards me
A thirst for my heart and soul.

You love me
Not just by my puffy cheeks
Not just by how I hold a pen
Not just by how I move.

You love me sincerely
Because I don't need to pretend to be someone else
Because I am being me
Because you just love me.

I have spent an age
Longing.

                                   I have spent an eon
                                               Loving

                                                                                I have spent an eternity
                                                                                                           Lusting
whereas you spent a second.
Making it all worthwhile.

As this slow drip, timeless trip
wavers out its incessant lifespan
leaves me, wishing our relationship.
                                              To never cease to be.

I need the money
but I am not a slave to a master.
In this capitalist world were thriving
needs the illusion of paper worth,
were the jungle has segregated itself
between social life or work,
living or spending
where we follow the bell and expect
a lunch break,
where paying for a life I had no say in
is the law
and we are seen as robots to a mechanism.

A working class in which I am but a replaceable
machine gone awry over years of misuse
and
my life is compiled over minimum wage for
paychecks
where times is anything but gold.
A society in which working for retirement is
somehow starting early,
where youth is wasted and rusted by gears of a watch.

Call me a starving artist because-
the art of my life is but the aesthetics of my mind,
because I won't invest my time for the ownership of your profit,
because living is not experiencing the wonders of
a world in where success is equivalent to currency.

Call me human because I am,
free and spending my life but not to mere pennies of your system.
Just somewhat overwhelmed by all this wasting of my life in something I care not for.
