Something awoken I long thought dead
Something broken, back from the dead
The long sleep felt too long in my head
Now I sleep with everything she said

Something smoking in my bed
I was choking while she bled
Turning hope from black to red
then back to black the minute she left

I've traced her steps and every one led
to water I can't walk on or even tread
Still jumped in, now I'm sinking like lead
Going down quicker than the sickest head

At the bottom I float not living or dead
Stuck in a limbo of my own intent
My prayers returned, unopened, unsent
All i have left is the long cold descent

Redundancy,
my currency to the last cent
I can't seem to help repeating myself
Can't seem to stop teetering on the edge
of nothing to say that hasn't been said

their whispers
are like

I wish there was magic in life
a little spark from a wand
with some spells out of a mouth
for good ones specials around
for bad ones only the drought
a little bit of magic dust
raising you to infinite heights
some Alvens and Ashrays
to play with, in summers heat
salamanders creeping in hallway
helping to keep the house warm

making garlands to beautify everything

I am this thinking, valid creature.
And while not every verse beckons
Itself to be the grestest.
