Sometimes I see the look of love
And wonder at the site
As warm as sunlight from above
Concealed like rain at night

Eyes that reveal a brightness quick
And shyly turn away
Just like the candle’s burning wick
Turns night into the day

The look of love is loneliness
When special ones are gone
The spirit hits a lowliness
Like words without a song

The look of love is bashful laughter
When two souls blend as one
The gentle glow and moments after
The look of having fun

The look of love is like the wind
That blows from clouds above
It lifts the lonely heart and mends...
I love the look of love

Just the peace, the least
Of a lesson in gray seem...
Care for any of a mere in is...?
The pasts day come by a heart to win...

Places we played, we fated with a new passion
To call upon what we knew, for a deeds many
In held today, the common with the lasting
Of a smiling friend, that has the voice to lend any...

Heard in a clash with silence's blessing
Today is a merit in keeping style
Through a moment alone, we saw the hour we are giving
Have the affect of heeding the same, still powers, all the while...

Mercy in a roll of thunder...
Time with a being sit of earn, to know a charity to burn...
Sacrifice and learning, dealt the blow of wonder...
Sameness of a presence of mind, with shyness to churn...

Final guarantee of a simple care, in the hands of life's appetite?
Here to say, and know a seldom in the name of comparison
A snapped finger has its way of settling an argument, a fight
With itself, and the world of other's, without mercy on the run...

Cares of vice, within the range of your ears...
Patience in kind, if strength has a say...
Lucid forces to intone, a way amid pain and fears...
And wholly fated shame, we almost missed for nix, that just learned how to pray...
Where angels fear to treatise, the miracle is on the now, with vows to count...
thankful that
the promised storm
did not arrive
umbrellas were collapsed
used as walking sticks
or were discarded
as unwelcome rain
and clouds of grey
drifted apologetically
stood in expectant awe
we were rapturous
as blue skies stretched
from hillock to tor
to witness a cowboy
dressed in white
the hero-in-waiting
with a sunset
      to ride towards
his happily-ever-after
a pastoral beauty
in flowering green
inseparable thus far
tradition be ******
now adorned with
a bonded eternity
on their fingers
to match that
which is long-rooted
in their hearts

Happiness: the joy

of the quiet awareness --

of your existence.

Wish upon wish
Of a simple day to reserve
A stringent care, to enliven a mission
To decency's stare, the tone of a voice I share, worth's...

Places and names, thought's and conditions
Today, I have seen a callous approach
Since to fame, and a family of just renditions
Of a palpable song, I know by heart and hosts

Sanity's feather
Loved by loan and lore to signify
A rational deed, a promise to air the most, another
Call to a beauty's wish, mine to live and begin a worth's sigh?

Forces may mix and mingle, even make the time of day
A wholesome vestige, sights that calm a reason
Of comparison, might over the tale of visions may
Being a careful lip, in the world of shared seasons...

My nap, my hap
Is a legendary conversation with all of a kind
Seldom in passion, but given the stand of notoriety, under my cap
Heed is a longing taken to understate the silence, I mind

Awakening, I see the seasons become like fruit
Tentative to the distance, and the mayhem of need
Spare and special, the liberty of clashes, to know a decision to suit
Wishes are like these, a character of privilege with how to lead...

An angel's wish for better possibility's...
A care of work's in loves embrace, as if a can't of sincerity is hope
A legend of solace that has the causes of youth, for a wield of civility
And the futures presence of mind, that will with the ought I chose

Patience
And the entourage of absolution I will know, is mine
Ends of worth set to winds of change, and the new fate of reliance
Which with sense as our guide, has asked, is when to become ours for time?
Wide eyed and willing to save piety for life, does a chance meeting with an angel mean the better as a friend? Don't be a fool and ask...

The warmth of her smile,
As her eyes shine with hope,
Waiting someone dear to return,
Every wrinkle is a mark of her love,
Her angelic voice,
He kept reminiscing
Retained vivid memories,
The laughter they shared,
Echoes to every space,

She asked,

"Have you found what you've been seeking?"

He said,

"Yes i did, a reason to come back home."

I'm not happy.

I'm not sad

I'm not mad

I'm not depressed

My feelings aren't suppressed

I'm not in distress

I don't feel upset or oppressed

I'm not just happy

I'm numb

Numb to life

Numb to love

Numb to pain

Patiently waiting for death to take me away.

When my mind began to cloud, I began thinking out loud.

Splinters, blisters.
Losers, winners.
Saints and sinners.
"Come in for dinner" s

It's where we learned to socialise.
Our very own sovereign land
zero politics
and conflicts always solved
hand to hand.

Loud junctions juxtaposed
against our little corner of paradise
motorists peering in when they stop at that red light.

Ringing on doorbells, buzzing on intercoms
The anticipation
to hear whether your friend was home or not.

Colourblind kids with the most vivid sight.
Retrieving footballs under parked cars
was the extent of our plights.

I didn't know where the world would take us
or the type of people it would make us,
but something I learned from a young age
is that the rest of the world isn't like
Gooseacre.
This is about the street I grew up on as a child. I'm sure many can relate. I haven't written in a while and I was feeling nostalgic. It's always best to make the most of these moments and store them in a poem.

If you're happy with her,
stay with her.

If you could be happier,
reconsider.
