As everyone stepped over me
one by one
they kept walking by

you're the one
who actually stumbled upon me
and picked me up out of the mud
to clean me up
and take me home
creds to my boyfriend <3

I'm cold,
so cold,
be my sun and shine on me,
be the energy to give me a gleam.
I'm selfish,
so selfish,
so succumb to my needs,
be my mother's ****,
comfort me and let me eat.
Now I am alive,
and you are cold,
but I still need more,
I will be so bold,
and leave you on the floor,
as my insatiable thirst for strength grows,
I will turn away and raise my nose,
for when you die it is not my fault,
you gave to much,
so take that worth a grain of salt.

Rough weathers crossed our currents,
Ever so softly,
We drifted together

Harsh currents brought me under
Your wave’s soft lips helped me to surface

Curious waters dunked me below
Again
And Again
With each
Resurfacing became harder
Tides only dropping me
Deeper
And Deeper

Fluttering arms would rise
Reaching for you
But I loosen my grip
In hopes you could already sense my SOS
I learnt what I could not expect
With enough strength I  learned to save myself

I still suffocate
As the water settles
It grows
Harder
And harder
To wait
Yet, I wait
And wait
For the final wave of
The final storm to pass
Realigning our streams

How badly
do I wish to love away
your
self-loathing,

to kiss
away your
ignorance,

to
hold you
through
your dissatisfaction-induced
convulsions;

cry away
your demons
and hate,
flushing
the pain
into my
skin.
