topacio
my fingers have become bored with
the quicksand of routine
they prefer to dance erotically over my typewriter
frolicking like naked ballerinas
over an ancient stage
spilling their secret thoughts
onto blank page,
after their day job
threaded together
over my lap,
or bending over to
reveal the contents
of my burlap sack

they have taken instead
to jumping over cracks
in the nothing of night
stifling the sound of silence
with assortments of clicks and clacks
punching in the perfect pitch of keys
to leave Beethoven blind
from this symphony of notes combined

and just like that at last
they have unfolded some rhyme
unachievable with ink and pencil,
without the stencil of time
dictating to work inside the lines

"You're sleep deprived", she said and to which he replied, "I need to stay awake to be with you forever."

The words you speak with waves of sounds,
oh how i crave to be drowned
in you forever
with the pain never
to come back again.
we solve our problems
by spitting on a house fire
and claiming to try
eyes versus oceans
the sea isn't always blue
but I'm still drowning

We chase and chase around the clock
never reaching eachother
maybe one day far from here
we'll be with one another
but for now all we can do is
chase through time to be together
hearing the ticking sound as we run
only to see eachother across the clock

i'm so sorry i'm so sorry, dear flower in my garden
you were the blooming life in this

jungle of growing souls
but i picked you up, disconnecting you

from your lovely source
you started to rot and slowly crippled

it was all my fault it was all my fault
when i picked up my beloved flower.
