Traveler
Upon the sea wall the breakwaters pound
She holds my hand my soul is bound
A salty summer breeze,  fresh and alive
Her hair blows wildly across the sky

A beacon buoy dances upon the ocean swells
Anchored to its destiny attempting to rebel
Seagulls attracted by its ringing bell
They take their haven in this beacon’s hell

Her brown eyes scan the horizon then back at me
I don't know what she sees in me
Truth is I hunger to be free; you know, like the sea
Yet like the buoy I could never leave

I start to say, you know our dreams are quite insane
But she quickly covers my mouth, “Shhh, do you want it to rain?
The sun is shining, the sky is blue and I will always love you”
I think to myself, what more could I ever want to hear
Still my heart is somewhere out there

And again the hungry sea calls out to me
Take a chance and come be free
Yet then again, where would I be
But alone upon the hungry sea...

The clouds race golden
As be chariots
The sun is born
Like the deviants

As gusts of wind
****** the thoughts
Underdressed
The chest it coughs

While Major Clank
On wheels and stub
Bellows out and
Rubs the nub

Then by runes
the best made plans
Test the dikes
And angst of dams

The age of truth
The youth desired
Across the space
without the wires

The universe comes
In a box
Neatly packed
Shelved , detoxed

And all because
Annointed by rain
The blue sky morning
Clouds it's pain
Notes (optional)
Tangled in a web
of malicious destruction,
whilst spectators
enjoy the show,

alone
in a dark crowded room
without windows,
lost with nowhere
safe to go.

Taunted
by the breath-stealers,
and their curses -
it's taking a terrible toll
on an innocent soul,

attaching themselves
like a virus,
to every healthy living cell -
poisoning every breath
is their goal.

Causing havoc,
running amok,

breaking a spirit,
wishing nothing
but misfortune - bad luck!

It's as though
they have a seal
placed upon their hearts,

they continue to
flap their serpent tongues...
For them,
there is no salvation -
with the devil they conspire,
he supplies and multiplies
their toxic darts.

I almost pity their souls,
for they sold them,
whilst they were
already blessed,

never ever
will these evil servants
peacefully rest!

East Wind
She goes, her legs taking her away.fast.
running with no destination in mind.
She just wants to get away from everything-
and everyone. Especially, herself.
She runs and cries and runs some more
confusion and sadness urging her to go on.
She stops to dry her tear streaked face
and looks around to the new place.
She finds herself surrounded by-
bricks and walls and city lights.
She has gotten somewhere
reaching nowhere at the same time.
She realizes she's stuck where it all began
her thoughts gripping her like the prison cells they are.
She wondered where she went wrong while looking up at the sky
still trying to find a place to call home, where she can settle down
but alas, all She wants to do is to run away now.

I look inside and it is empty
Void of even atmosphere
A book written on black pages
No hope of escaping despair.
Infinite space, nothing really matters
Adam cast out into darkness
A blink of experience shatters
Death is the only constant.
Entropy devours my very soul
Physical bodies dividing us all
Universal laws fill the bowl
Until you see the water fall
Until you witness an atom bomb...
Surrounded by
a drone
the dull buzz of
Suburbia
draining me of
desire
I just vvant to
drink
I vvatch them all
creeping by like
bugs
&& all I'm guilty of
is vvanting

You tie my gut in knots
Never expected this in my plot
Twisting my lochs with
Nervous fingers locking
Hands with you is magickal.

You tie my mind in knots
Its like a roller coaster lost
In space the comet's frost
Ignites a shower of colors
Cascading across your eyes...

You tie my heart in knots
I pray it doesn't clot my
Thoughts about our
Dreams about our
Kids about our
Means of getting by...
And I love having this in common with you.
