I have conversations with you in my head,
my mouth is moving
a silent film with a torn screen
I picture what you would say,
wrap your beautiful words in quotation marks.
If they were real they'd be wrapped in a sunrise
I imagine that I am funnier and wittier than I actually am
so I can imagine the laughter coming from your mouth
and even though this is a silent film
your smile in my mind takes handfuls of weight from my heart
...and almost makes up for the locked doors that dominate what I see

But the torn screen warps your smile
and those locked doors mock me,
pouring shovels full of weight back into my heart.

they were in love
they were a mess
but there was nothing to keep them together
not anymore

We are silent film directors partitioned into different reels of reality. Quietly yelling sign language in the direction of creating something more than ourselves. If silence were love my poetry would walk away without you.

I see you
on this film roll
in front of me
22 frames
of you being
held
by him,
moving
in for a kiss

He roams the city, she sits there
What a pity
He sees every light, every street, but justice does not shrink
For she sees every memory, every song, like film placed in her eyes that she couldn't push away

We're but a collection of monochrome films,
each it's own color.
Pixels on a screen,
giving life its big animated motion picture.

You are the absence of color in our cinema screen;
white.
I am the absorption or combination of all combined;
black.
So why then, when reflected through a prism your light
gives a rainbow?
It must be the light versus a color, without the light there is
no Technicolor.

We're but a composition of a continuous film,
and ensemble of the cinema of life.

I love how film makes me feel,
Its one of those things that can make me heal,
Action or comedy it doesn't matter,
I love eating popcorn which makes me fatter,
I can sit and watch films all day,
Especially when I'm watching films like cast away,
I watch films all the time,
And thats the reason why i made this poetry rhyme

I want to film,
the bee,
inside my broken *window,
just the things that would scare someone, make me want to see the beauty
