A perfect poem...
Is it the one that's well written,
Or the one having a greater meaning.?
Is it the one with perfect verses,
Or required a perfect rhyming?
Is it the one that speaks to all,
Or the one having hidden mysteries?
Is it the one that let you vent,
Or the one with you wouldn't deal?
Is it the one that opens wounds,
Or the one that makes you heal?
Is it the one that came out of a chaos,
Or the one describing the peace?
Is it the one that told the tale of the chains,
Or the one giving you freedom wings?
Is it the one about the Prince charming,
Or the one exercising the demons?
Is it the one describing the vast beauty of the nature,
Or the one about havoc of disaster?
Is it the one that makes you smile,
Or the one that bring tears in the eyes?
Is it the one that's written with the ink,
Or the one that bled through it all?

I'll say perfect is overrated. ..
A poem is what that smooths an ache within the soul you never knew existed.
Just being able to pen down the thoughts gives an immense joy that you can't buy anywhere in this world.
And being brave enough to put it out there to be judged and commented that itself is a perfect poetry!!.
Life would
be quite
worthless and short
If this is
the only
dear life
we
have.
Great
plans just
death can abort
to be
useless
once you
met
your grave.
As for
those who
die young,
in
childhood's
tender
ages
How short
and
incomplete
life
would be
How
unfair and
unlucky if
death's
the end
for them
Besides
life to the
fullest is
eternity.
What
about
those who
born
and die
poor
or those
born deaf, blind or lame
What if
they were
so
doomed
without
any cure
How
unlucky if
resurrection never came!
But a
belief that
there's a
life
after this
could be
of great
consolation and solace
especially
to the
poor
handicapped,
the
shortlived
that they
could
make it up
under heaven's grace!
For the
good one
who is born blind,
In heaven
shall he in
brighter
vision see
And the
goodly
one yet
who
has lost his mind
will in the
afterlife
be as sane
as could be.

The deaf
man with
his balance
of pious
acts
Only the
hereafter
would
compensate
what he
lacks
And that
godly one
born poor
and who
dies poor
could be
of the
richest at
heaven's
door.

In this life
those
who've
been
saintly yet
unable to talk
could
cheer up
to believe
what
heaven
has in stock
For this
world can
be misery,
Heaven's
the place to rock
In this
world at
times
you've
to let
the hawk gawk
Knowing
your
tormentor
in
heaven
shall ye mock.

Thus for a
true happy ever after
for an
abode of mirth and laughter
Work towards thy hereafter
A divine place devoid of disaster!
O' God therefore after my death and demise
Do place me in a peaceful palatial paradise.
Profile cover pic represents my Taj mahal poem
Plant a tree,
Water a flower,
Preserve nature.
Have a purpose!

Feed a bird,
Cuddle a pet,
Be humane to animals.
Have a purpose!

Save a life,
Nurture an orphan,
Stand up with the oppressed.
Have a purpose!

Count your blessings,
Recite your prayers,
Contemplate the universe.
Have a purpose!

Nurture your mind with ideas,
Fill your heart with the wine of love,
Dress your soul with the garment of kindness.
Have a purpose!

Toothache
Life and love and death and birth
And peace
And love
On the planet earth
   Is there anything that's worth
More than
Peace
And love
On the planet earth
Mi, fa mi mi, fa mi ti la
you don't exist when
my eyes are open
you don't exist when
my blood's not poisoned
when my soul's at peace
when my gut is full
and when I'm in company

So you exist most of the time
dear muse
