I fell,
in love with your broken.
I fixed you
then
set
you
free.

Fractured,
in words left unspoken.
I'm broken
as
broken
can
be.

Everything has lost its colour,
Even on the sunny days.
I'm almost certain that the lake used to be bluer,
that your eyes used to burn brighter.

Perhaps it's just a blurry lens,
But I fear my vision's changed

Those minuscule moments of clarity and purpose
Fill my days with longing
To die knowing I can’t live there

Down in the deep blue,
I await for something new.
But it never came

Salt water waves crashing above my head,
screaming from the deep.
They threaten to swallow me whole,
fearlessly i walked into the white washed waters
ever so ready
to become one with the tide.

she
her head
literally up in the clouds
reading stars instead of books
floating mindlessly
an escaped balloon
what she sees
beyond the blue ceiling
perhaps a golden sky
no one knew
if you ask
maybe she'll give a clue or two
and if you don't
she'll give you pair of eyes
to see it too

The tips of her lashes
were silver like rainfall,
and her hair was the sea at night,
her flesh was the clouds
obscuring the warmth of the sun,
and her teeth were the glinting knives.

No obsidian dark
could outshine her eyes,
and her words were a painful storm.
The more she breathed,
a new star awoke,
and in the darkness, I grew forlorn.
falling, falling, falling into the darkness of love.

Society is a prison.
It traps you in
And steals your freedoms.
Makes you conform.
Until you are normal.

So why don't we escape?

Because we are afraid.
Afraid of being alone.
Loneliness rots the mind
It steels the heart.

We all decided
Being trapped together
Is better than to be free
Alone.

small words
in a small
white box
i feel as if
I am burying
something
and begging
you
to dig it up
and exclaim
in delight
and a little fright
right right right
