People change just like seasons
Once familiar face now turned stranger
Unrecognisable
But why the sudden character change
Rachel Jul 2020
For I cannot bear to cut you off
I will live with the open sores
Waiting for a word from you
To be finally restored
I wish I didn't sow the seed to my own destruction

1:30 am, I just smoked my first cigarette
To bad this won't help my mind forget
All the things they said
Doesn't silence the voice in my head
Can't numb out with the bottom of a bottle
Can't escape what's in my mind
With little white lines
Can't run from what I feel with these little pills
So I self medicate with this cold blade
Maybe blood will make it fade
Maybe voices will silence if I write it on my skin
Acina Joy Jul 2019
The tips of her lashes
were silver like rainfall,
and her hair was the sea at night,
her flesh was the clouds
obscuring the warmth of the sun,
and her teeth were the glinting knives.

No obsidian dark
could outshine her eyes,
and her words were a painful storm.
The more she breathed,
a new star awoke,
and in the darkness, I grew forlorn.
falling, falling, falling into the darkness of love.
