I saw it...ravaged and old,
cursed by...time.
Left to rot in an
old, unwelcoming lot.

It told of so many roads
traveled, so many
conversations had...
so much love made in
the dark of night, parked
in secret places.

Life...it had 'life' once..
long ago.

So many places, so many
stories, buried forever,
within squeaky hinges
and forgotten steal.

Now, disregarded...
and discarded...but
once, long ago, it
provided...it was
essential and carried
precious cargo,
encased by metal and
glass....

before becoming a relic
of another time.

* Re: a picture of an old parked, rusted pick-up truck
The heart is magnanimous
Never wary, to give up
Hope always kindles an
Eternal fire within the chambers
Providing light
To the experiences in life
Every chamber holds
Memorabilia collected from
The life events we encounter
With a psychic ability
To help us take decisions
And transform to face life
The challenges and experiences
Valiant heart beats
Essence of life in the rhythm
Cocooned within the walls
reflects smiles
mirrors pains
its beauty beguiles
entertains

wakes up heart
opens door
transcends art
furthermore

swells in vein
its maddening flow
drops as rain
on parchment glow

once seeded within
grows deep root
makes you come clean
speak only truth

soul's inked beat
pearls dug from deep
in true spirit
have it worshipped.
Poetry is a spirit; they that would worship it must worship in spirit and in truth.
(E.M. Forster: The Celestial Omnibus)
I taste the emptiness
Of a life built
On the fringes of ideas
That failed to hold true
I exhale the fervour
Embody the reckless abandon
Own the rooted rage
The rigorous conception of art
I taste the blood lost

The waves of ambition
Rearranging the realities
Afloat from delusions
I taste the sweep
Of ephemeral nirvana
Savour the sweetness of
Reveries of the great
Disengage from the current
The surrender
To blissful oblivion.
My love
Glides over
The topography
Of your heart
Searching for
Pristine landscape
Where two
Souls can
Run wild
Under the
Starry canopy
Of dreams
Coalescing in
The sacred
Chambers of
Union
Holding on to anger
Is like self flagellation
A tirade against peace
Depriving the soul
A dose of tranquility
Leaving deep gashes within
Bleeds in silence
Overflowing the system
Incarcerated heart
Sitting on burning embers
There’s a raging fire
Burning down the peace
Only ashes shall remain
Smeared over the
Remnants, of what life was

Curing
So until I smile
Stay for a while
Hold me as I crumble
Into a pile

I don't need much
But I need you
And when you smile
I know it's true

Scary things
May happen too
But I fly higher
When I'm with you
Remember your summer storm?
When in the middle of my European night,
Across the Ocean silent cries you would perform,
Me, promising you would be allright.
You, sobbing this storm would wreck it all,
You and me together we would fall.

(thunder)

Now, if you could look at my eyes
As you said, their peace have the power
After a while to soothe your sighs,
Your days and your nights to make quieter.
Indeed, I am like the still water
Of a mountain lake :
The least I can offer
Is to drawn your ache.

(rainbow)*

Alas,
You've decided that
My Blue and your fever,
Among the stars will never
Dance together.
Her
Amazing and beautiful
not a flower or a tree
Much prettier than that
and only I can see

Loving and caring
right down to the core
Filling me with happiness
and so much more

Eyes are so stunning
cannot look away
Gorgeous and shining
all throughout the day

Here in your arms
is where I belong
The beating of your heart
is like a beautiful song
