An artist doesn't stop loving the art after he has painted
The sun doesn't stop to shine after the sunset
Neither does breathing cease after we've fainted
Nor jungle cacophony after Elephant silencing his trumpet
The road doesn't end when you reach a destination
The moon doesn't give up It's glow when blanketed by clouds
An answer doesn't end it all, there's always another question
And loneliness cannot be evaded by hiding in crowds
Out of sight doesn't always mean out of mind
Going uphill doesn't mean life will never *****
Walking down your road doesn't mean you ain't blind
Sometimes the blind lip of faith doesn't necessarily require hope
So it doesn't mean I'll get over you when I finally move on
The wounds always heal, but the scars live on
why do the moths watch me sleep if they
are meant to be attracted to
light ?
why won't they fly away to find what
they truly seek from the
world ?
why do they come so close but not enough
to see through the
mirror ?
because they fear my true thoughts

flustered
art
i had no clue about art
but i knew a thing or two
from just looking at you
I long for the days when we'll look back on the past and laugh at the fact that we thought the hard times would actually last.
I really want to get to this point haha
My lazy radar lets me down,
Sometimes I just look a clown.
They called me a lazy reader:
Well I think it was “reader”…

‘Fraid to say I’m very slow,
For learning that’s a deadly foe.
Marking books was very hard,
I was given a yellow card.

For every down, though, there’s an up,
Always a way to win The Cup.
I couldn’t skim, I had no choice,
But that’s what gave me my poetic Voice.

So if I’m slow to read your stuff,
Don’t forget I find it tough.
I’ll read your poem as soon as I can,
And if it’s good I’ll be your fan.

That Voice is crucial, at a price...

Tea
I believe I drink more tea than alcoholics drink alcohol
And it makes me drunk
In its own way
And I fear it would ruin my teeth
The way alcoholics fear it would ruin their liver
But we drink it anyway
Until the damage is too clear to ignore
I look at the mirror and see how terrible my teeth have become
As an alcoholic holds his stomach in pain
And we both go for another glass

Conch

Sarah
I think that
I was there
when
Venus
danced from
the foam

her ankles
kissing
the sea

like a conch,
put me
to your ear
and you'll
hear the ocean
in me.
