From midnight to five
Punching words, not counting sheep
The Poet clocks in.

who would want to be obsessed with magizines and lies, when you can be obsessed with the galaxies in your eyes?
i didnt know what to call this, hope you enjoyed it anyway. <3

you look at me across the room,
your stare is long and hard,
as if though you were dead,
kind of like our friendship.
its weird having a class with a friend who doesnt talk to you anymore.

Excuse me miss,
My name's Joseph,
And yours is?
Well,
I saw you across the way and just had to do this
I don't mean this to be the average
spontaneous compliment
That you must receive on a daily basis.
And so, may I have a moment of your time?
If yes, let me start with your eyes.

What is being beautiful?
Is being beautiful about the greatest figure?
Or who has taken the most pictures?

For me,
Being beautiful has less to do with looks,
and more to do with heart.
The way kindness seeps in at the start,
it would transform people to a work of art.
Beautiful isn't in the physical appearance,
It isn't about acne and clearance,
it is the one that you hold dearest,
As though their heart is of solid gold,
so the saying that is quite old,
'Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder',
so when models give of a cold shoulder,
Or the way celebrities form boulders,
From the bodies of their fans,
so amongst the waving hands,
I can truly say, not everyone is beautiful...

Beauty doesn't stem from the eyes,
It stems from a beautiful heart,
Beauty doesn't stem from a disguise,
It stems from a kind finish and a kind start.

"Write with your eyes like painters, with your ears like musicians, with your feet like dancers. You are the truth sayer with quill and torch. Write with your tongues of fire. Don't let the pen banish you from yourself."
