The sun is hiding
The fog rolls in
The road is guiding

A sweet nostalgia
Pulls strings on my heart
It's been too long
That we've been apart

The miles go on
I'm closer to you
The clouds fade away
The sky is blue

The time has come
I see your eyes
Miraculous
They match the skies

I'm in your arms
As daylight fades
And all my worries
Melt away

I'm crawling, clawing my way through this
dark, damp tunnel
memories of the light fading, falling
out of my reach
the tunnel is all I know-
it is not unfamiliar to me
I have been here before
I know the light will come again

Anxiety wraps
itself around me,

like a coat that
doesn’t fit me

like a lover that
doesn’t love me

like a fire that
doesn’t warm me
