At my prime time
I surely rhyme
I write countless sonnets
Like numerous poets
I tell it like it is
With everlasting ease
I remain calm and kind
To speak my mind
As a free man in control
Of my destiny, I play that role
On a daily basis with success
God grants me health and happiness
So far, I am blessed to be alive
I am lucky and I thrive
At my prime time
I weep because I am happy
And I assuredly rhyme
In front of so much beauty.

Sweet sixteen, never being touched and just beginning to blossom.
Is a Sc. Sc. Scary place to be.
As I look upon my grand daughter's typing with such accuracy , that the roving eye can not keep track.
I am fla  fla  flabagasted as this modern technology, as it runs circle's around me.
Come gran, come there is a lesson or two you have to learn.
Touch, Hold,Paste, Send.
Once again gran.
Touch, Hold, Paste, Send.
So at sweet sixteen, there are some things, that are hard to grip.
So patience and perseverance is what I need.
To get a grip of this modern and ever changing world.
Beyond the keyboard
I see you smile
Beyond that emoji
I know you are mine.
Beyond the calls
I see you through the phone
Beyond the voice notes
I see your intentions
Beyond the reaction
I see your action
This is more than I can feel
But love is more than feelings.

NAP
Old long scrolls on my phone
Like a never ending zombie
Is this the life that we all live
Looking at others highs
Likes and follows on their photos
....it's seems like a never ending cycle
Like I am their disciple
Even though I'm not in their circle...
All I just need to do is stop,
Leave the app
Close my phone and go take a nap.

stripped, flogged, mocked
the limited power of fear and hate

love entered the very centre
taking death hostage

rising triumphant
everlasting victory gained
