I am unattached
Free from ties that bind
I yearn no living mortal
Nor have I sought to find
I do not wallow in my loneliness
I embrace it and embark
Into a world of emptiness
Taking comfort in the dark
No nagging words to stir me
And break my freedom down
I’m never ever truly lost
If I don’t want to be found
And this is where my comfort lies
Away from eyes that pry
So that I can live out my life
With no one asking why
I hang onto your every last word like it's the last bus home at midnight but the driver is inconsistent and now I'm stranded.
Do I wait under the flickering lights
Or
Do I start my walk home alone
Life is like climbing a glacier,
A glacier that always fights back,
Pushing you down,
Beneath the waves at the bottom.
The longer you're under,
The more your affected,
You gotta keep climbing,
Otherwise,
Your last breath,
Will be beneath the waves.
We all have our own glaciers to climb, and our own meanings of the waves we climb out of. But one thing is for sure, we all need to keep climbing.
Long ago they climbed
Promised to catch each other
Fallen death closed arms
Acceptance is sweet,
But takes time
And is hard to achieve.
It cannot be worked on like a muscle;
Quantity is not the answer,
Time is.
Acceptance comes like a timid mouse,
Rather than like a herd of elephants.
Walk the journey,
Traverse the landscape,
Feel the sensations of emotions.
Be present.
Grief is a vital ingredient.
Embrace it with both hands, and
A warm heart.
It’s time for winter to thaw, and
Spring to have its way.
Feel the joy of new life,
Harness its power;
Acceptance is a force to be reckoned with.
But not yet still
green

the leaves are that
of Summer

we wish and we must
be careful

what we wish for
and look beyond

what is strikingly
beautiful

and at the time
never

here to stay
An abstract word painting about Fall
A few hold a wall in front of them.
Pretending to be someone they are not.
Trying to impress the world.
Trying to impress themselves.
We sometimes try too hard to impress that we forget what we are doing.
True friends "may" see through farcades, true friends "will" love you for who you are.... without the pretending.
We stick ourselves in this teenage mindset, thinking that we have to be perfect, flaws are a bad thing. Life has ended before it could begin.

We need to understand that facades, is not open, and dethrones our true nature. For one to love us we need to love yourselves first. ;)
Poetry is a verbal engagement, that tells a story in a rhythmic arrangement.

Poetry is a form of linguistical art,
that evokes your sentiments,
right from the start.

The beauty of a poem lies in its meanings,
and the true emotions that the poet is feeling.

Some poems when read may sound to you dull,
but to many others,
they do ring a bell.

Our tastes may differ,
from one to another,
but a good solid poem,
can bring us together.

For every poet has a different style,
the clever one,
will stand out from a mile.
