Any song can sound sweet,
if you tune your tone appropriately,
and add a lyric,
with a melody
and I have seen where there is a life,
there is a song
but some songs are not only a love song
that notion was a loop, intense, black and blue passionate song
was not romantic

She was a sad song
and I thought I would know how to make it better
like if I could be the only to love her again,
I believed that everything would fall into a melodious love song
but  I lost a few lines of lyrics
and there was bit melody missing that I couldn't find
and I saw too many scratches on the disc
I couldn't let myself be made no longer
trying to fix her entirety.

scratches on the disc
a loving heart knows no distance
and distance cannot quell desire
sparks that flare for every instance
neither time nor space can put out that fire

not for the tepid or the sorry
just seeking comfort wanting fun
because every letter builds a story
that binds two hearts and souls as one

It is always a pleasure to work with Wolf Spirit Quinfinn. He is absolutely delightful.  Thanks Q for pulling poetry out of thin air. Love it. :)
All I ever got
out of loving you
was a snog and a
fuckload
of poetry.
Bathe me as you did
in your forgiveness
but do not
for it is not what I need.

I cannot say
Hold me like before,
before was never.

I cannot crave the past
because it was never the present -
it was, but not with you.

Digging up the doubts I buried,
always there and waiting
for open air to uncover dishonesties.

Turning my head the other way
- out the window -
locked in by ignorance.

Pretty skies and sparkling waters,
goosebumps on my arms,
pretending your reflection was pure.

Back turned on reality,
choosing to see graceful things,
picking false ideals.

You.
My ideal.
My imperfection.
Fatal flaw, Achilles heel.

They say ignorance is bliss and
I understand,
for bliss it was with you in your
unlabelled silence.
But who knew silence could make
such noise in my head?

Maybe the echo of some
humble truth.
She said she wore me like a used shoe
Said I was uncomfortable, my
Soul
Weak
Holed
"What the  hell"
Said if she could of, she would of,
Have strung me up long ago,
Tied me to the highest place
And watch me just hang,
Motionless,
Silent,
Swinging,
She would tell children I was
A piñata
Go on kids hit the F#cker harder,
I was an odd pair,
But even though she hated those shoes
She said she had worn me
For so long that even though
"I hurt her"
She couldn't wear anything different
Some shoes however unconfutable
You can never truly hate
And she said
"As long as you let me wear you"
"No matter how painful upon her feet"
"I will wear you for a life time"
Even though I hurt her
Never meaning too, but such is life,
She said I smelt funny sometimes
But she would wear me everyday if she could.
