Before you go complaining
About how your feet are aching
And about how it is you've paid your dues

I guess you'd best be knowing
Exactly where you're going
And when you get there what you plan to do

You're spouting off your stories
All your pain and glories
And how nobody has it as hard as you

Before you go and lose your sight
I think you might just want to try
And walk a mile in another mans shoes

I'm not here to cause you trouble
Don't mean to burst your bubble
But you're not the only one around that moves

Not the only one who's life is hectic
Are you starting yet to get it
There is nothing new you need to prove

When you start to walk this way
In your day by day by day by day
Not thinking as you set your course on cruise

There are other people around you know
Check your pace and take it slow
And try walking a mile in another mans shoes

comfort was a long road that came to a dead
end abruptly. happiness and companionship
left suddenly with the clutch of solace. he
was left standing there in the rain, all senses
disdained. a seeing man now build to ease,
seeing the fellowship of someone that ties
knots in your throat; turns your obscurities
to seize.

                                  distraught

at this very moment the quest for clenches
to console surrounded him with the ignorance
his state of mind was unable to control.
seeking and searching began in the
bedsheets. he found loneliness and
regret; mistake after mistake, temporary impassion
chose what risks to take. drowning in seas of
duvets, suffocation on the stench of
frictioned flesh and smothered in the salinity
pasted on each others skin like the warpaint of
ephemeral happiness, he searched down an
unsearchable road and lost his direction in the
*******; forever ringing his ears with regret. each kiss
down his neck, each bite to his lip, each face-blanketing
exhale, he repents with the ignorance of finding the
will to live and love between the legs of someone who
feels the same way. the crimson crevices carved in his back
drip with remorse and sullen; hoping for once to life the
bedsheets and find an unawakened bundle of coiffure
and serenity and not calamities of regret and ****** suicide

Dreaming up at the sky tonight, so pure and bright
Planet's spinning of warm colors and cold rings
Stars looking down on earth, displaying their beauty
Clouds swishing to the north east, slightly blocking the moons light
Light and dark colors slowly merging together, eventually traveling the same path in the skies endless roads
The moon spreads its love to our planet, giving life to those who bloom at night
Jet planes soaring in the nights darkness, leaving cold trails that wish to follow
Astronauts walking on the moon, searching for signs of life beyond earth
As were looking up, searching for different worlds
Rocket ships making trips through space, nearing asteroids big and powerful
Defying places unseen, the places we look up and see, as we dream up at the night sky

Adrift...
Time has no hold over these
currents that carry me.
Coursing over this seemingly
endless journey.
Caressed and nudged
by an invisible hand...
Perhaps my grave awaits below...
Where light is swallowed
and is too afraid to show.
The desolate demeanor
of the submerged tombless land.

Adrift...
Blind to what lays in store...
Oblivious to...
The faint whispers of a distant shore.
The mythical horizon is but a dream,
worthy only to the steadfast
and the resilient.
Not to those who'd fray at the seams.

Adrift...
Ripples amass and finally cresting.
Wake up... Waves are breaking.
The sand beckons bearing open arms
to home and sanctuary.
I glance back to
the calm of the watery plain.
My feet aren't ready to be received by
the grit and grain.
I'd like to linger here...
In the water, with the shore so near.
For I've longed and travelled far...
but
I'm still not yet ready...

"Don't give me your heart,
Give me your time.
Your fingers know my body like clockwork;
A heart can't turn back time at midnight
With the sole purpose of re-winding each moment
So that I can hear the chimes inside my chest that sing for you.
What use is a heart darling, when I can give you a ring?"

The ache

There is a longing in me
For you
Resonating deeply
Untouchably
With no release
Adequately
Freeing me
From the ache
You've made
Of me.

But fear

There's a weapon
Inside me
Proceeding we
A history, a knife
And puncture wounds
Highlight
The mistakes that are
My life.
Constantly reminding me
Of how sharp I am
By the scars I've left.

So ache

That's all there's left
Of me
Without you.
this is the fortune that comes with me
