A place
In my mind
Neither Alien nor Earthly
I yearn to find

Lost
In the Universe
Neither to be found in Verse
Nor Hearse

A place
In my mind
Distinctly Familiar,Yet Unknown
I SEEK
Shall I ,find....
Some thoughts ..... trying to fill them in words
Take
my hand
Walk with me
through dalihian
fields

                  Vast
                  gardens
                 under the
                   crown of gold light
                   blooms

By
the lake
Under trees
A silvern rope
swings

             Hold
             the rope
              swing to pond
               Swim beneath the
              stars

See
Northern
Lights dance past
Strokes of painter's
brush

        Blues
          greens, pinks
          Pure   in  beats
          Music    for    our
          eyes

Tears
well  up
and  fall  at
the beautiful
sight

          Let
        love fly
        on the wings
          of hope and peace
        free

High
to     the
world of  dreams
Ride   the  winds  of
hope

       I
        embrace
          hold  hands  with
           my  lost  inner
          child

Face
towards
the dark skies
     Shadows behind
me

                                Heart
                                  is  now
                                   tender   flame
                                Don't hang,  lantern
                                  Fly
Lanterns poems, my lastest obsession!
I just let the words flow here. And reading it makes me feel so happy.
Like I'm lighting the lanterns of my inner child's dream...
Makes me feel so warm and fuzzy inside, it's almost unreal.
Truly. These poems are making me happier. A level of happiness I haven't felt in such a long time. I'm definitely going to do more of these! ^.^
Love you, everyone! Thanks so much for 84 followers!
You're the bomb!
Be back soon!

I’m
Sitting here On the
      mountain top
Watching the sunrise

           With
a cup of coffee in hand
           today’s
   paper on the other
   I’m reminded of the
   Life I ought to have
           And
  How blessed I am
      To  be alive

          Oh my
What a beautiful
         Scenery

Nature surely knows
           How
  To put on a show

The Trees are creaking
And moaning  in the
             wind
The snakes are  hissing
The Goats  are bleating
The bears are  growling
The bees are humming
And buzzing In a
          distance
Birds high on the trees
  Clapping for the rise
            I swear
Excitements had them
Singing all morning long
           Even had
the leaves dancing
            For joy
              And
      Luckily for me
         I was there
With my cup of coffee
   In hand and today’s
    Paper on the other
To capture the moment
              Of  a
Perfect performance
         By Nature
I am so thankful for the sunrise today, which encourages me to be still and reminds me to take in  the forever changing of nature .... Now Imagine That ;)
Smallness of flowers
In grass

Butter
Cup
Daisy

Tears
Take, O take those lips away,
  That so sweetly were forsworn;
And those eyes, the break of day,
Lights that do mislead the morn!
But my kisses bring again,
              Bring again;
Seals of love, but seal’d in vain,
              Seal’d in vain!

I don't think about it any more
I take out the trash
noting
Sticks caught in the crotch of a tree
The wind does what the wind does
breaks weaker branches down
does not care where
it leaves
them
on its invisible way

Days do what the days do
they don't count themselves
worthy as they go
to release
the afternoon
to evening—
an artless
emptying
to a low spot
where tears tend to pool
if I'd let them down

“You know,
in that low spot
out there...?”
Where it's hard to see
Where its hard to care?

They take heart
out
divide it by energy
for sadness—
I haven't got

Watched the clock go round
wipe out my little plans
with relentless hands

...and I never got dressed today

If you will indulge me, a Story for you:

"Ending"

I’m safely tucked up in bed now. So frail. When I think how fat I used to be. But I’m very, very old. Might even die tonight, in my sleep. Can hear the wind howling outside.
It’s not such a bad place this. The carers look after me well. If I’m lucky they will wheel me into the garden again tomorrow. Hope that wind dies down and the sun shines. Where am I? Can’t recall the name. This Dim Enta thing. So tired now. So tired…
“And wake!”
What? Where am I? On my back! Ceiling. Face! Doctor Sanders!”
“It’s over, Krol, welcome back.”
I remember. Doctor Sanders. I’ve been hypnotised, regressed to a former life. Lived that whole life! And now I’m awake!
Me: “Did I just die there?”
Dr. Sanders: “Yes Krol, in your sleep. Or at least the person you were died in his sleep… But did you get the full life experience this time?”
Me: “Just about, Bob. I can remember back to being about three. My parents, our little dog, a baby sister. Playing with a wooden train or something that you could ride in. But it seems I died in my sleep…”
Bob: “How far back in time was this?”
Me: “I was born mid-twentieth century, not long after the Second World War…”
Bob: “Fascinating. Better get you into Debriefing, before you forget it all.”
Me: “Yeah. It sure was a long life. Lots of history for you. I can’t get over that that was me!”
Bob: “You’ll soon adjust, Krol.”
Me: “That Death thing was scary, Bob. I was afraid of ‘dying’, as they called it, for most of my life. Thank goodness we found a cure.”
Bob: “Yes Krol, things were really rough back then. But come on, let’s get that report of yours done…”
