The richest man may offer all his jewels,
The strongest man may threaten all his brute,
The most powerful man may call all his horses and all his men,

Yet no one, and absolutely nothing, can take you away from me.
My vagabond heart skipped with every step taken,
As if the wind whipping around the trees whispered, “Go find your ‘Great Perhaps.’”
His body was warm,
His heart still beating,
But without her, he was brain-dead.
In the blank of his stare and dullness of his kiss,
She found her soul trapped in routine,
Fighting to be set free.
Busted! Caught again
In a battle for your brain
Oh please, don't pretend

The nights! And the scares
Guilt built up inside your skull
Oh please, let it end

Curled, crying lies
Awake! Inside his eyes, glossed
In a withered glow

Oh! It asks as he
Blends into his wallpaper:
"Oh please, where'd you go?"
