Of All Places

Of all the places we could be,
Getting married in six months or
Enganged in Disney Land,
Or maybe even moving North
To simply live together,
Of all the places we're here -
While you destruct and I
Balance a crumbling life with school,
Here we are back in like.

My girl is a superhero:
With one foot she snuffs the smoldering
Cigarette **** her depression lies in, and
With the other she staves  the weight of a
Terrible job;
With her left hand she creates and makes
Beautiful things from a beautiful mind,
And with her right she craddles me,
All the while flying on the small vibrant
Wings of a robyn.

Being as self conscious and
Insecure as I
Means fixing your hair before
Climbing into an empty
Bed
And sleeping alone,
Discontent with myself
In the dark.

Would You?

My shoulders a mountaintop
My mind a sky
Would you climb?
Will you fly?
Just a clever little thing to keep in mind.  Hue hue.  (:

Nylee
Her life had acquired coffee flavour
and she didn't like to be that bitter
She wanted someone with sweetener
To make her life taste better

Ought once,..
Nine times,
wasting nine lives
in the process of falling
through satin space
to feel a wimb
of womb in you,
you said.
I erred, quite more than thrice,
to vice,
one being my vice round you.
Now, pulled apart,
I lay, plastic gripping sea foam,
rocking in waiting for this vice I have on you
to end so galely.
Alcohol depraved,
sweating nights,
are the only lethal comparison I feel I have
having to,
just,
let,
go,
of you.
I know I can be
a tide,
a quake,
a storm,
a snake,
but that doesn't mean that I don't cherish you. Love you...
(I) Dream of a future,
one where we could nurture
more dreams that would ensue.
I know you're not perfect,
and everytime I ****** up,
you gave me arms I craved,
and gave me the clarity you knew I deserved because you showed me
that we were worth it...
You don't deserve someone's best,
by getting their worst.
Their worst
should be monuments above the worst
of the worse,
and what's worse
is I get that know now..
not then,
and only now
do I wish
now, then,
and then, now.

Echoes in ash
Sit here silent as masks
Staring right back
Through my hyperbole past

The fire, did warm me
The whiskey, did sew me
Thread, falls from my collapse
As whispers of mourning

Portraits of you, next
What you've become
One's strokes, so vivid
The other, rotund

Ashes to echos
I wonder if he knows
What, all,
He left behind

A fog of limbs
Eyes in mist
Is there,
After, life

Rocks; crack, stumble
In glass: of tumble
As red leather,
Made company

Ashes, the echoes
Of what was
Once, but
No more
For Nanu.

My grandfather was cremated last year. I imagine myself in the one red leather chair I always saw him seated in, reflecting on him now, up there, on the mantle.

I love books.
I love them so much I want to eat them.
I love it when the spirit of the book possesses you in a way you can feel
you are converging into another world—a world where the heart of
   the book belongs;
And how it makes you feel the characters' feelings, as if you are in their
   situation.
I love how your imagination unite in the story.
I love the way books talk to you.
I love the way the spirit of the book connects with your soul.
I love the way books take you away from reality.
I love the way stories remains, stays, and sticks with you for days,
   or months,
   or years,
   or decades,
   or even a lifetime.
I love the way its words and messages touches you deeply in a way you
can give any meaning onto it.
I love to think how books can change the world.
Any book.
Any writer.
Any reader.
As long as you are passionately open and understanding.
Now,
Anyone,
Would you like to join me for tea?
Let us talk.
Let us talk about the books you've read,
And I'll join you babbling about how wonderful it is...
