I am drowning in
your love and I do not want
to learn how to swim

Her wisdom is vivacious and magnetic
When our lips touch it's beautifully kinetic
We are just two energies brought together as one
To charge each other up until our time on this Earth is done.

Ever since we looked together
the moon will never be the same.
The dull aching light reflects into the
atmosphere, speaking nothing but your name.

At least we never had a moment together
with the sun,
Or my heart and mind would be
burned to the darkest crisp.
Well done.

Grown vibrant by the sun
My beautiful flower you may just be the one
For
I have never seen anything so fine
With your petals and color most divine
I am so lucky you appeared here
In this garden of mine.

There's a solemn tranquility embedded
in the gravel along this empty highway.
Wind whipping through my hair,
Destination is unknown,
But I'll know when I get there.

Remnants of salt water rest on my lips
A sacred reminder that it is my own
Tears which gather and fill the ocean

Waves of reality crash over my head and
drag me forcefully under
As it dawns on me
I'm only drowning myself.

Your lungs are those who inhaled the precious
cigarettes nicotine,
But tell me why I was the only one being poisoned
My already decaying heart
Taking on more damage
By the toxic lies
Your taunted tongue told

Brain is reporting effected too
Just another ***** stimulated by you
Even though our time is through
My bloodstream still craves your toxins,
Exactly like the way
Your lips crave the end of your cigarette,
It's really a shame you never wanted me as bad as that.
