It wasn't until I was 20,
feeling down and out,
that I realized something important.

Self Worth Matters.

I had spent so many days
drawing my worth from others
wasting my time for 20 years.

Life does not offer a guarantee
that everyone we encounter will stay.
The only one we live with forever,
is ourselves.

I realize now that I shouldn't have spent all that time
all of those years
putting my happiness into other people's pockets.
Happiness comes from within, not without.
Never forget it.

Him: That I can down six tacos in one sitting?

This is clearly an argument.
You place your hand on my lower back.
You lead me in how I wronged you.
I can bend for you.
But only so far.
We will sway to and fro.
I dip you in empty apologies.
You twirl me in my unjust cause.
I try to pull us away from the floor.
But a new song is bound to play.
You never tire.
Back and forth.
Our never ending dance.

Im Stressed out

I hope you ask me for coffee

Now, the only thing worth calling my home is your heart,
we found each other in this sea of possibilities,
and I don't plan on leaving my love behind,
even if you're a distance from me,
I will love you all my journey,
sailing through so many known places,
and I may cry from time to time but I feel fine.
