paper boats
I still sit by the window,
Where the crows call.
I hear the smoke,
On windless nights,
Like a loveless kite,
Lost in the rain
Hiding behind roads
To forget its way home.

With rusted breath,
And wasted mind,
The  debts i owe
Leave ashes behind
Your stories unknown,
My stories untold.
The rest unfinished,
Collect in my pockets.

We took a dive in the stars.
I made a wish, just one.
I begged the moon, just one more dance,
before we faced the morning sun.

Moonlight lovers, that's what we are.
We ache to be covered in the moon.
The lambency impels us to stay,
until the sunlight compels you home.

Last night rest on my lips, it throbs my pelvis.
You are the star covering my sky.
For we are lovers of the fervor night,
the owls awake and birds no longer fly.

We thirst for the passion that the moon brings forth.
We pine at the thought of the time that's left.
We don't want this to end ever,
and so we count the hours until sunset.

We are moonlight lovers,
We dance in the moon.
We are moonlight lovers,
Until your sunlight love comes home.
This poem is about the other woman/man that is in love/lust with a person that is committed to someone else.

All these pent up frustrations,
Banging on my insides,
Playing their anthems on my bones,
Waving a flag for news of the fallen,
Take back my morals,
Return me to my bed,
I'd trade my soul for pocket change,
Sick of the tongues knotted in nooses,
Tired of the silence used and useless,
These pens done gone and run out on me,
Dried themselves of all that is left,
So slit my wrists and write with blood,
Because that's all this really is anyways
And I wasn't even in my body anymore
Feelings
slowly
fade
After
you
played
them
like

Purgatory

I no longer want to feel like a bottom of a whiskey bottle
like the last sip of regret before my head hits the table.
This story I wish was a happy one but I know longer
know how to write the happy ones.

I have seen both heaven and hell, but of the worse I say neither.
The worst is the empty room, my own purgatory.
Here there is no joy, no pain just  an endless forever
and I have seen forever and I seen never.

The promise of tomorrow has became the threat of today.
Today is the abysses of which my toes stand upon the edge
Creeping ever closer to the final descent,
the leap into darkness, in pursuit of peace.

In a room,
Of people and colours,
Across the voices and whispers,
My eyes caught,
Just you,
And only you,
Smiling at me.

We Learned

Why are you trying to be someone that you’re not?
Why are you pretending to be happy that you’re really not?
Why do you keep on lying to yourself?
Why is your life very complicated?
Or you’re just making it too complicated for us to bother?
Maybe you’re just emotionally damaged by your own selfish doing?
I get it, that you’re hard to deal with, I get that.
Still you don’t have to push us away.
You don’t have to be so alone.
You know we’re here to listen and guide you towards a better way.
We stick to you no matter what they say and what you’d become.
Because we know it’s still you, it’s a part of you.
We love you just the way you are, nothing can change that.
If you gone to a bad start, then let’s start a new better one.
Maybe for you it’s too late to start a better one, but life’s too short.
Let’s enjoy it, lived the way we want it to be.

Ha, you’re a late bloomer you say.
Nah, you’re just one of millions out there.
People learned new things every day;
it’s never too late to learn. That’s one of my principles.

You’re doing good, listen to your good side.
Listen to you pure soul. Hear its plea.
Flip every bad into an optimism to strive for the better.
You know we can, because we believe in ourselves that we can.
Come let’s do this together start a new beginning.
Free from prejudice and judgments.
Let’s thanks sorrow and pain.
Without them we can never achieved who we are today.
Life isn’t easy, we know,
but we learned.

Religion taught me to fear
It told me to deny the aches of my bones
As if there was something inherently evil about it
That this body that God knit together
Was destined to be broken
I'm starting to doubt the height of the mountains
Because of the depth of my current valley
Have I always been here
Was that hill I stood on
Merely a mound in a canyon
Yet there is one thing I am sure of
That God is and was always here
Offering to take this burden
While there was me trying to believe that there wasn't one
Because I liked it
It kept me inside the lines
And each time I would wander too far
Send me a crippling shock of fear
And now, only while looking back,
Do I realize that I want more
