Most people forget the night
It is the time we go to sleep
They forget the stars above
And the beauty that they keep

The stars and planets dance
In their celestial homes above
And those who merely watch
Can learn, then, how to love

On cloudless nights they shine
With splendor and with light
But no one here below
Regards them with a might

What would our lives be like
If above us we would look
And give out all the shining love
That we ourselves just took
Young: dreaming
of impossible possibilities
Unrestrained, untethered from reality
Unaware of the ticking, of the passing
of the seconds, of the hours,
of the years to the end
of eternity.

Climbing
Climbing and
Clinging
to the hope that one can dream forever
and as the feet are swinging
the child, fearless of pain, fearless of the fall, is ever
naive, and never expecting
that one day the dream may end.

For what was once a child is a child no longer

Mature: daydreaming
of the past, yet troubled of the future
Unfeatherd, grounded in reality
All too aware of the arching clock hands
and the hours that turn into seconds
and the days that pass into years
begin to fade into
oblivion.

Falling
Falling and
Failing
to realize that the feet now rest upon the ground
and the child that was once fearless, is fearing
the depths of a future not yet found
forever doubtful yet hoping
To continue to dream at day’s end.

What was gained was equally lost
And with this knowledge in hand
The child finally stands
Holding on to the dreams of tomorrow
Grasping the fantasies of yesterday

Indeed, what once was can never be again
To march forward never to return
What awaits are only questions, what remains are only “ifs”
But what stands tall is neither a realist nor a dreamer

What stands is a child no longer

and what i was a year ago

i'll start writing happier sad songs

i want to get to know myself before i talk to you again
i wanna live like you and your family
and darling don’t wait anymore time for me
i can't live without hearing you breathe

I can drink alone.
I can enjoy the undertones of life alone.
I might moan because of wishes...
or the Way I want to see things.
But I can sit alone.
I can drink alone
I can write alone and I can
Decipher your confusion alone
I can lend you advice alone

& I can let you know that I am
Alone.

I'm not afraid to be lonesome.
But I'm afraid to discover loneliness alone.

I'm not afraid to walk alone
I'm built to be alone.

But you're scared of my
tendency to be alone.

I can dance alone.
& I can breathe alone.

I can drink with you.
But I drink alone.
When you leave, go without a whisper,
as though you were never here.
Do not leave tear stains on my pillow or kiss my eyes and beg them not to cry.

Dissipate, let the thin air replace you. Leave no echo, no trace of your existence,
no backward pity glance at what might have been,

**** the drawn out goodbye, the heartfelt speech, the apologies for the inevitable.

It's not you it's me.....It's always me.

Let the truth hang  above my broken form, swaying as the ceiling creaks under its bitter weight. I will dance to it's rhythm soon enough.

Then cease.

When their was no reason to live.
Life was useless, better to give.

You were frustrated and pumped.
From top of roof you jumped.

It was just a matter of second
yet enough to live whole life in this errand.

Ups and downs of life passed through your eyes.
You wished to give your life another try.

But now it was too late.
Worldly life had already closed its gate.

Your delicate body crashed into the ground.
It all ended with a dull and feeble sound.
