The past no longer exist
The future will never be here
We will always be in this moment

We only have limited colours to paint with.
But the ability of the artist
Has no limits.

The evening
Gently wrapped up all the light
Off the aurulent sky
Unfolding charcoal hues
The stars glimmer dimly
Somewhere a rainbow arcs

Having to eat our own words
should give us food for thought.

The crescent today
Smiles feeble in the dark sky
Yet radiates from within
The light it holds dear

πŸŒ™
18th January, the crescent moon

Turning the leaves
Of an old cherished book
A flower, pressed between the pages
Years ago, fresh
Ever so delicate, its petals rest
Like stilled wings of a butterfly
In fond memories

  🌺
Was inspired by a fb post
A hibiscus flower pressed in a book 40 years ago
The flower in its beauty(skeleton) intact
Well preserved
The need for wants
Wants each need fulfilled
All for me, trampling all
Yes, for me to receive
Leave no chance to deceive
Wasn’t the past year enough
For one to learn
And rise above self
And look beyond
Masked and taped
Everyone
A morning walk
In my cherished park
Unkempt trees
Brown and green
Fallen leaves
A carpet of strewn black seeds
And the moist-gentle breeze
Rays of the mellow morning sun
Shine & reflect hope
On the blades of verdant grass
