Obsessive love doesn't
give an inch
it can shake you
break you
make you flinch

some like to live an illusion
an image is a game to play
they wear a disguise under midnight skies
then hide from the light of day

Curse me
with your beauty
with your eyes
make me feel something
even if it is "cursed"

curse me
with your movements
with your hands
make me want something
even if i cant have it

curse me
with your mouth
your words
tell me something
even if it's untrue

curse me
with your existence
with your being
make me love something
even if love never lasts

curse me

Crimson droplets
from deep within
my femininity
whir and purr
     into ripe, full spin
It is my time
        for the moon
to glow at its
            brightest
shine in its fullest
              fervor as I
let myself
be relished by
Mother Earth,
reveling in my
          woman spirit love
Holding my pen
as a sword,
          I dance into
the dark forest,
arms raised
as if to get closer
to the stars
Yes
          they are calling me
as creativity spills
from my fingers
into the atmosphere
my aura communicates
reverberates
          mystical pulses
into the ether
and while pain creates
little uterine explosions
that bloat
and ache,
         a power trips
through me
that cannot
be faked
mood swings,
cravings for
spice
   and ***
sway my mind
like a sharp,
whitened hex
No point in
claiming inhumanity
      for this
hormonal state
is like a bout
                of temporary insanity
and with all of it
     swirling round
and round
with all of the
attempts at
emotional restraint
in themselves
bound, I am
    without complaint
for this is the ultimate
miracle of our bodies
the ripe potential
          to procreate
(if we are so inclined or destined)
or just be
     enfolded in who we are
we are part of
magnetic earthbeats
as we are part of
                the bliss
                      of stars

It's been such a long time
It seems like, my whole life time
It's been a long time since everything was alright
And the sun shined bright
Hell !!
No one ringing my bells
Not under anyone's spell

Hotel after hotel
Oh well !!
So many different girls
Fake blonds and died brunettes
Bad girls
You know the kind, that would never ware pearls
Even some guys along the way
Please do not tell
Now do you understand my hell
Those **** pills
Waking up in landfills

I have changed my ways

Waking up in a ****** hotel
His picture was staring at me
It was meant to be
As I stared back at  him
I ask, where have you been
I have been asking for you, for a long time
I am at my end
I am worn thin

I started looking within
He promised me better days
I promised him I would change my ways
He whispered in my ear, " I am hear to stay"
The very next day
No more ****** hotels
No more pills
No more waking up in landfills
No more bad girls
Only the one's that ware pearls

That picture of our lord
Pulled me out of my

LIVING HELL
There has been so many brighter days
By me changing my bad ways
Thanks to that picture of our Lord
Him staring at me
And me staring back at him

susan
simple man

susan
he spends days
ambling
following footsteps
he has yet to make
his mind is gone
no thoughts make sense
no words escape his lips
except for random ramblings
and incoherent observations
made from pictures seen inside his head
he searches for pennies
copper bright
to jingle in his pocket
offering a comfort
only he understands
this simple man
with simple needs
clinging to the belief
that he has a purpose
not knowing or caring
that he is alone.

You are a star and yet lead a double life,
Concealed in the day and then arriving abruptly at night,
The brightness you illuminate, compels those sombre tones,
To form into a perfect twilight,
Even under the vast veil of ebony,
With its cosmic significance,
We open our eyes just for you,
And yet you disperse before we have the time to bid adieu,
Does being under the gaze of seven billion faces cause you to feel unease?
Perhaps like the consummate performer, you know when to drop,
At the right moment to get the crowd out their seats.

A man, a movement,
Whose words stung like a Bee,
But had the masses floating to him,
When he spoke about peace,
He shook up the World like he said he would,
And twisted our perceptions of what it meant to be a true hero,
And for that we thank you.
Rest in peace and power, the great Muhammad Ali (1942 - 2016).
