What's the worst that could happen?
I don't want to know,
but I think that I'll likely
find out, even though
I've done all I can
and I hope for the best.
I just can't help feeling
there's something I've missed.
My poem for day 2 of the April Poem A Day challenge.
Today’s prompt: Write a best case or a worst case poem.
Of course, I had to choose worst case. lol

Rest your head on the fluffy pillows
Feel your heart with how it flows
Close your eyes in the cool breezy night
Good night, sweet dreams and sleep tight
I hope you like it! even if it's too short...

the trees are budding
and everyone is sneezing
but I breath easy
i put my phone down and made this observation around me. very happy winter is gone.
Spring rain
had a subtle hint
of new love blossoming
a prequel to summer dates
at the beach

The floor is hard, cold
And I am sick of being on it.

With lips that speak so tense
I'm an eclipse
Waiting for the end.

Some days
I wake
in tears,

Some days
I wake refreshed,

But today
I woke
a blank space,
nothing to emote
I’m just a still pond
with a small wooden boat
afloat.

Wonderful sun-kissed skin
Blissful rushing winds
Birds chirping hymns
'Tis a beautiful spring!
Happy.

Waste of Space
Waste of Time
I don't know if I can live
Just one more time

Your fingers

are inside

         my

                 wet

                          warm

throat

pulling out

                        sighs

of desperation

and cries

that thunder down like rain
