Julia Heart
even though you say
I don't matter
I want to disagree
over your noise and chatter

once I was a smile
until you took it away
once I was a flower
loved every day

but now my wish is to simply be
a wave across the sea
I would roll into tomorrow
and simply just "be"
Please let me live.

The Judge
I crawl towards the door,
tears streaming down my face.
A trail of blood on the floor,
But I will never accept this fate.

I will make it to the end.
I will show them the best.
Even if I have to lose friends.
Even if I've failed the test.

I will rise above them.
I will tear down their balconies.
I will drag the wolf out of its den.
I will force them to their knees.

As I push my hands on the floor.
I push myself up.
I will accept failure NO MORE
I will grab the golden cup.

I will always stand.
Even if I must use broken wings.
For this is my land.
And you will hear me sing.

I take a step through the door.
and see the sky.
I feel something from my core,
and feel like I could fly.

I walk on this land,
its smell is sublime.

Of all the things I am certain,
it will be mine.
We keep using the phrase
later on in life
A vague band-aid for the now.
But how do you define it?
When does it come?
There are no numbers.
There is no time.
People don't have time to be human
because they are waiting
for a tomorrow that won't come.
All that is certain is that later is promised.
It will come.
Whether it be a day, a week, or 22 years.
Even the seconds ticking by now
is your later coming true.
You will make it to your later.
I promise.

L Marie
I wouldn't quite call it love,
I would call it feelings
And to me, that is stronger
For love is just a feeling
But so is my disappointment
And my hope and anger and
Explosive anxiety;
Feelings include my best days
And my worst, the bubbly in
My chest and the butterflies
Bursting throughout my belly;
They include my dreams and fears,
Every thought that passes me,
And you, my friend, bring it all
Out of me, like a siphon.

I feel disappointment when
I don't get to see your face
And I feel hope whenever
You smile and anger whenever
I let my anxiety
Turn my best day for the worse
As I feel butterflies and
Bubbly inside and have dreams
Of us, yet my fears always
Win, but you're still in each thought
That does travel through my mind
Because out of all the feelings,
As I have many feelings,
The strongest feeling I have
Is just love for you, my friend.
My heart skips a beat at the sound of your heavenly moan
As my lips attach to the particular spot on your neck that I own

Your warm breath, tinged on my ear through our conversation
Causing in the pit of my stomach, a deep and fluterry sensation

The rhythm of our bodies set by the rise and fall of your breathing
In this moment, an immense amount of love for you I am feeling

Oh the sweet scent of your being clouded my senses as i breathe you in deep
It all felt so real, it aroused me from my sleep

The cold that seeped from reality, the warmth of my dream it broke
Regreting the moment I ever awoke

With your white silky sheets, my face I cover
Squeeze my eyes shut, in hopes that the dream I may recover
And regain the presence of the only one who will ever truly matter
Little tweek to see if it flows
