Rites of spring haiku: # 2
I'm finally me.
Im the me that lets the suns ray hit me on a Sunday.
Im the me that takes walks to clear my mind.
Im the me that doesn't need you
I'm the me that didn't have to choose,
between letting you lie and hurt the one you love,
just because you felt unsure.
Im the me that has Joy in her pores.
Im the me that enjoyed being invisible, and knowing everything about me made you feel invincible.
I'm the me that should've been this me before the real me.
Im finally me thanks to you.
and theres nothing you can do.

Relax.
Cry yourself dry, then
Sleep.

Your turn to be
Child now.
Rest.

This is safety.
I am familiar

When I touch your
Forehead with
Mine

The energies between our
Eyes dance within
An inch of

Immense impact.
I could drop you over ruins;
Rebuild cities.

it eased my mind to know that
somewhere between parallel worlds
somewhere in another life
somewhere in different universe
somewhere
i am able to be with you
i am able to feel your warmth in my fingertips
i am able to collide my lips with yours
maybe not in this life
maybe not in this reality i live in right now
but still, it eased my mind to know that somewhere
i'm not alone, and we're not on our own
you, and your sad songs
me, with my good byes
the sunset
the dress
our foot steps
us, and our miseries
words, i cannot bear
thoughts you cannot share
sentences become hums
silence become memories
You were the star she never looked
You were the path she never took
You were the wind she never touched
You were the story
she never told
But you are
to me
the page
I never tore
