wishing I had just gone fishing
instead of drinking
sank a worm in the pond
I didn't so I am thinking
of you

finishing another round
now getting logical again
a song comes into my head
I can't find the name of it
you drown

me on the end of a hook
in the pond and mesquite
swirling river of Tequila
like a cricket
in a bream's mouth

hungry on the bottom
of the creek

You've stood beside me,
and never let go of my hand.
Even when our feet were
slipping in the sand.

Surrounded by creatures, all around
we stand together
and embrace every sound,
I hope it'll stay this way forever.
I hope it'll stay this way forever, you and me under the ocean together.

Her beauty cought my eye
Her bright smile
Captured my lonely heart I truly love her
O truly be mine
Her walk so special her smell
So perfect her hair glowing
O her beauty would always
Comfort my lonely heart I love her
So much
she's my sweetheart
She is deep inside my heart
She is the greatest gift from up
above o I truly love her.

I Truly Love Her
Like a magnet you take my pieces and make me complete
My sweetheart in your attraction no one can ever just beat
I am like a flower who comes in your way under you feet
When spring comes in real bloom you intoxicate me to meet

I know the worth of your beauty and price of my sheer love
Let me hold you in my hand to kiss you my innocent dove
I fell in love please do not ask me when where and just how
You are like sheer worship for me and I have an intent to bow

When we embrace entire universe steps up to dangle, dance
When a beauty in front ,then heart takes chance after chance
I am in your eyes my sweetheart you are in my sneaky glance
When love dares to touch beauty , beauty blooms in romance

And ever since I last
Saw you passin' by,

I know,

One day I'll die with you
In my mind.
I cannot think about any other way
this could end up,
love.

love her oohs and ahs
music to my ears
her vociferousness
we parlayed and drank several hours away
laughed and smoked a blunt
and her hand was right there
I was expecting her to pull it away
when I reached out and touched it
she was a lady but
let me grasp her
and she was quite a lady
my ears are ringing

I'd hang a dreamcatcher above my bed,
If I thought it would keep you out of my head.
Because I've wondered, since age eighteen,
About all the things that might have been.
Unsure, I have tread lightly,
Though your lips haunt me nightly.
I awake, hopeful but unsure,
That I crossed your mind the night before.
And I am haunted by how real your lips seem,
Because I know you are just a dream.
I'd hang a dreamcatcher above my bed
If I thought it would keep you out of my head.

I have loved you for many years,
Even before I knew your name.
Your heart has called to mine for eons,
Whispering sweet nothings in my ears.

I have searched for you for lifetimes,
And been disappointed at every turn.
For no one I've met in any life
Has ever been half as sublime.

Now I've lost myself in you,
My gypsy heart has found its home.
You're the north star I've been drawn to,
There's no one else I want to pursue.

I have dreamt of you every night
Since I first felt the weight of your lips on mine.
To my heart's delight,
It seems like the universe's design,
For you and I to be together
Forever intertwined in love.

And so I found you dear,
With kindness in your eyes and fire in your heart.
Covering my love for you with thin veneer,
Pretending I didn't feel the kick start,
When I stared into your eyes
And felt our souls unite.

You have stars behind each eyelid,
And galaxies in your bones.
You are my world,
My whole solar system;
My north, my south, my east, and west
My rising sun and my nightly rest.
I orbit you,
Forever trapped in your gravitational pull.

Sweet sounds of waves softly lap
On flecks of sun dipped copper sands
With gentleness the water swirls
In a kiss of frothy love on land

Splash of oars on a cobalt sea
While songs of sailors wane and fade
Aboard the ships of destiny
A cruise on an ocean's serenade

The sea gull swoops, oh hear the cries
Flap of wings fluttering the dock
Ferries roll on routes of spice
Midst the clap of waves on rocks

Crests of water heave and ebb
Touched by scales of coral scents
Whispers born in the wind
Sing of pirates, silk legends

In murmurs 'twixt rippling waves
Dreams float 'neath a setting sun
Whisked like boats in a river's flow
That sail across to meet oceans

Love notes of romance in the waters
Rhythm at feet, soaking wet
Dancing waves stir the heart
In a melody from the ocean's breath

In cadence pleasant when tis dark
On a night when moon and stars are laid
When the sky shines with silver light
The breeze plays music of mermaids

Though now no storm, 'tis serene
Soon the winds will ravage, rave
On this quilt of aquamarine
In a cacophony of thunderous rage

But for now, 'tis the conch, the shell
That sings those songs of the sea
I close my eyes and drift away
Swept by its magic and mysteries
