Belonging to Eden,
the garden of
inescapable pleasure.

Prepare to fall again
for the pretty things.

The desire to preserve life
lies at the root.

The way of flowers
--let them beckon and bloom--
sincerely upright,
vessels for memories,
methods of communicating
with distant versions of yourself,
a conversation that could
drift into tears or laughter,
personal revelation
or total silence,
depending on the mood.

If only time and thought
could be as perfectly
arranged as flowers.

He is so many words
that cannot be spoken
or even be truly written
as a beautiful rhyme.
My bursting heart chords
they sing,
to love they have awoken.

He is always on my mind
to him I am devoted,
I recall beautiful memories,
I embrace my comforting thoughts
because I know he is mine.
I smile,
as words of love become woven.

He radiates a love so strong
that our bond cannot be broken,
my happy heart leaps
leading my undying rhythm;
My never-ending song
I dance,
to poetry in motion.

I wonder what you're looking at
seeing as we've never met
do you dream as do I?
of cloudless minds and wordless skies
is it too much to presume
that you stare at the moon
or count the stars one by one
what is it you do for fun
is laughter always on your lips
would your smile launch a thousand ships
when all it takes is one
to set sail around the sun
tell me how you spend your days
does melancholy come in waves?
do you sleep with hope or sorrow
and will we ever meet tomorrow
truth be told I know little of
you, your heart or even love.

Asante'
Paint a bitter picture
with a letter full of truth.
Let it be offensive.
Let it be uncouth.
Even if it hurts me
Have your feelings be outpoured
because I'd rather be
rejected
than to simply be
ignored.

She was very sad.
And then she saw a butterfly.
It made her smile.

Our moods wax and wane from thin crescent to full brightness
But we have a Darkside stone cold, black as night, hidden behind us
The course of our lives rise and fall like ocean tides as we circle months and years

We protest, riot, plead for causes and ask for money
Laws are past and mandatory training is put in place to change us to right thinking people
There no more change then light passing over our face

Caught in humanities’ gravity
We circle birth and death
Unaware of the whole of ourselves

The earth is our home
All that inhabit the earth are our family
We will glow like the sun giving and receiving empathetic warmth

Derail your anxious train of thought

Open your inner spirit

And enter the dream corridor
like a leaf from a tree in its dying season

Coma come quiet
Airless linger delight

Sacrificial pasts
give you the power
to leave places

The world won't get better
but you will
